If you trust perfumery as art and seek natural scents, this is a real showstopper. Clemenpine is something else—authorial perfumery that feels like it was crafted in a garage. It’s a soft suede note tied with pine, fir, and wood, as if you’re inside a sawmill. That suede-conifer facet takes the lead, but the clementina adds air. I spend half my life in the mountains, and Clemenpine evokes a conifer forest on a mountain peak like nothing else. Picture a cabin in the middle of that forest, chopping wood in a plaid shirt.
