A pretty, pleasant fragrance. It’s ideal for spring and summer. At first the lemon and cedar notes can remind you of Light Blue, but after a while it turns more floral while still remaining unisex. I had never smelled a MAC perfume and I think it’s a good option for girls and guys who go to buy cosmetics, see this perfume in the display and want to take it home, just because it’s from MAC. I don’t know if I would buy it, because although I love this brand’s lipsticks, I thought the perfume was overpriced for what it is. I was intrigued by the ‘anemone’ note, I didn’t know there was a flower with this name, the only anemones I knew were those belonging to cnidarians 😉
I can’t wait for summer to arrive just to wear this fragrance. It’s super refreshing. I’m happy to have it in my collection.
I would leave the review for later since I received it from Scarlet the day before yesterday. I had tried it years ago and liked it a bit. Now that I’ve tried it, though, it shocked me a bit at first… because it does seem purely masculine. Although that distinction may not be correct. I’ve worn a men’s one that I liked, this one but it’s very dry and lemony… The funny thing is that yesterday when I wore it to work, although I couldn’t smell anything, (it’s light by the way)… 2 of my coworkers went crazy for that wonderful fragrance, which is watery and soapy… I couldn’t smell anything. I’ll give it a chance. 20 ml is just 20 ml!
A cheerful and chic perfume. It has an air of sophistication despite its citrusy character. I can’t stop smelling it when I wear it and I get a lot of compliments. Shareable, but a bit more feminine. I smelled it on the wrist of a lovely Mac sales associate, and I couldn’t leave the store without it! Since then I’ve bought it over and over again. It should never be discontinued. I’d be heartbroken if that happened! It’s the longevity that leaves something to be desired. It’s so delicious I wish it lasted 12 hours.
Turquatic is one of the most versatile fragrances I have ever known. It adapts very well to any occasion and to any age group or gender; it is undoubtedly a calmer fragrance, but not shy. The lemon is very bright at first and makes me think of lemonade; this calms down after about 5 minutes so I can smell the aquatic and floral aspects. It becomes prettier after about 10 minutes, when I can smell the floral notes through the aquatic notes; the flowers are soft and slightly sweet. It lasts about 4 hours on my skin and becomes very soft after the first hour, staying that way until the end. I admit I first became interested in Turquatic because of the bottle, which I love, but I’m glad I also like the scent a lot. A total success.
Turquatic – turquoise aquatic eau de toilette, very refreshing, summery, a bit exotic. Dominated by aquatic notes, with the addition of floral and citrus notes. This edition has very good reviews, which is no wonder and will probably displease almost no one. The “watery notes” are most of the time synthetic, which is perhaps also the case for “lotus.” These are all “fantasy notes,” water has no smell, nor can lotus boast of having one. What matters is how they are rendered, and here it is done very, very well and the result is extremely pleasant. Turquatic is a unisex perfume, which men who love musk can wear, but its floral aspect appeals a bit more to women. The only problem is that it is not very strong in terms of longevity and projection… My congratulations. On Fragrantica score – 4.25. I confirm.
This perfume is the face of summer! I love it. I imagine lemon slices floating in ice water with a floral touch. That’s it. Very refreshing, clean, soft but with presence. It smells like the beach, vacations, fun. It goes well with hammocks, rafts, the sea… It’s a well-balanced citrus flavor that doesn’t have the bitter, sour touch of lemon. Truly enjoyable. The bottle is gorgeous and I wish there were a 100 ml one!
It’s interesting how everyone has their own perception of smells. I don’t feel any green or herbal note in this perfume at all, and looking at the composition we can see that it doesn’t have any. And I don’t particularly like perfumes with herbal notes. In this perfume I notice a lot of lemon and aquatic notes, with a discreet woody note in the background. I consider it an aquatic citrus. Oh, and despite being unisex, the fragrance suits women better in my opinion.
This is the clean water fragrance I’ve been looking for. I can’t wait to wear it in summer. The best perfume from MAC. The water note lasted about 2-3 hours and then dried down to a very nice powder. I’m going to buy 5 bottles, vacuum-seal them and store them in a box at the back of the closet. I don’t want to run out of this if it’s discontinued…… which the good ones always are.
At first I liked it and decided to buy it, as it seemed watery, with a touch of something invigorating, neither lime nor menthol. Overall, it was very fresh, just what you need for summer. But on skin it turned into a copy of L’eau d’Issey, dominated by lotus, which, unfortunately, is ruthlessly sour on me and clogs everything else. And then it turned into cologne altogether. From here I think it will sound more interesting on men. From the blotter, the fragrance is not sour, but still, slightly cologne-like. Although, I think, there is no need to apply it to skin. You can put it on your hair and clothes…;)
Unexpectedly nice. Unconventional. I have Aquawoman. Here Turquatic is made with the same flavor and excellent balance as Aquawoman by Rochas, and Oblique FFWD by Givenchy. UPDATE: I’m going to say cromola. It shows better than Aquawoman by Rochas. The latter seems purely masculine to me….. Too sporty. Turquatic is the best.
The previous Turquatic was, in my opinion, longer-lasting, the only perfume I bought, several times. Mostly because the scent and the price (ridiculous) are incomparable, but it’s gone…. And how joyful that they’ve revived it, and on top of that already in 50ml! So feminine, delicate…. Super! And I don’t care about staying power). The fragrance is said to be unisex…. But what kind of man would wear them…. I don’t know.
I’m a man and I love this fragrance. It’s unisex but it definitely leans toward the feminine side. It’s an ideal fragrance for summer and I love its fruity aquatic flavor. That said, the longevity of this fragrance is, at best, inconsistent. 2 concentrated sprays on my fist lasted about 4 hours, leaving only a light trace of fragrance. Like all great things in life, this one ends too soon. Is it worth the high price for something that smells like heaven even if only fleetingly? I don’t know yet…
