  • Scent 8.5 points, trail 3 points, longevity 4. Similar to Paco Rabanne’s Black XS Lexcess, but with that… it’s not enough…

  • I’m not a perfume expert, but I do have to say I really like them and know most of them. It’s the only perfume in my collection that has given me more compliments; not even JPG LBLP has given me as many as this one. It’s true that longevity isn’t great, but it’s a scent that will please the majority, as long as you like sweet fragrances.

  • I have to say I went along with the hype, even though I arrived late. I was looking for a summer fragrance, sweet and fruity. Performance is terrible; it’s a batch from 03/2025. The opening is great, the pineapple and amber are very noticeable. As it evolves, it becomes more woody, but it still keeps that fruity DNA. The scent performance is acceptable: for the first hour, compliments galore; after the third hour, it’s just skin scent and lasts on clothes for a couple of days.

I’m sorry I have to write another review about this perfume. It smells delicious, a clear sensual pineapple from the very first moment with a very masculine dry down, maintaining a fruity and woody touch. An excellent scent at an unbeatable price, but the longevity is incredibly low and projection is even worse. It’s the first perfume I’ve rated with the lowest score of all I own; I’ve never performed this poorly. I have many Lattafa perfumes and they do the same thing. Right after applying, about 15 sprays, and from the bedroom to the living room, neither my girlfriend nor anyone else can smell it. It’s a shame. I give it a 4/10. I wouldn’t buy it again, unfortunately.

  • Striking fragrance, honestly I hadn’t smelled anything like this for daily wear; I’m not the most refined nose but it definitely catches attention. I tested some decants before buying. Longevity isn’t great, I think it’s because the sweet scent becomes cloying, but others definitely notice it. It’s very sweet but doesn’t bother my girlfriend; she loves it, and I love it even more when I smell it myself. And all of this added to the fact that it costs less than $20.

  • For the price, you can’t ask for anything else; let it macerate and enjoy. It’s a strong penalty kick and a half, never fails, and everyone likes it. It’s great to smell different at a gathering compared to Aqua di Giò, Sauvage, or Erba Pura. You’ll always get a compliment. When the heat comes, I’ll use it a lot and I’m sure I’ll buy another bottle.

  • In my experience, the performance is acceptable: sometimes it projects well and has a nice trail, other times it stays subtle and doesn’t surprise much. But the scent makes up for it. My girlfriend loved it, which reinforces its masculine and attractive character. It’s party-ready and youthful, perfect for nights out, though it also works well for casual daytime events. The pineapple note adds a juicy, pleasant sweetness without being cloying, even in the heat. However, longevity and projection vary and sometimes feel limited. Still, for the accessible price, that gets overlooked. It’s versatile and attractive, recommended for a modern, fun men’s fragrance without spending much. Rating: 7.9/10.

  • I think it’s a well-crafted perfume; the opening is great with a sweet pineapple scent, and as it dries down, it keeps that pineapple while adding floral notes. But it’s potent—if you abuse the sprays, it can get a bit dizzying; 4-6 applications are enough. I give it a 7.5/10. EDIT: I’ve tested it as a layering piece with perfumes that have an Aventus DNA, like Montblanc Explorer and Zara’s Vibrant Leather. The pineapple gets amplified; they work quite well together.

  • It’s like rubbing a pineapple with honey on your skin and bathing in its juice. Among my perfumes, only some catalog or nautical ones have a similar price, but this one kicks all of them in the rear regarding originality, quality feel, and longevity. If you like a realistic pineapple scent, you’ll love it; if not, this isn’t for you. I use it for occasions when I feel like it, like a gourmand; it doesn’t have a specific setting, but it brings joy with that sweetened air from time to time.

One of my top pineapple fragrances. Qaed Al Fursan has quickly become one of my favorites in the pineapple category. The quality and price are absurd. The opening is spectacular: a very juicy, mature pineapple, but with depth that makes it special. It’s not the cloying sweetness of a pineapple candy; here, you feel the fruit at its peak, fresh and natural. This pineapple is accompanied by a fine green and earthy touch of saffron, giving it an elegant and unexpected nuance at the start. At first, due to that juiciness, it might seem unisex. However, after a few hours, the composition settles and evolves into a more complex profile. The pineapple note lowers its intensity, and this is where the dry-down gets serious. Robust woody notes (probably cedar or dark woods) start to appear, mixed with a balsamic touch (possibly amber or resins) that adds a slight clean, earthy freshness. This combination of dry woods and the balsamic accord tips the scale toward a masculine and more serious character, giving it substance without losing the juicy trail in the background. Despite its potency, it’s surprisingly versatile. It’s perfect for daily wear, the office (projects professionalism without being offensive), or any event. While for dense parties you might prefer other options, it works well in any season. If you’re looking for a pineapple fragrance that offers more than just sweetness, with a high-quality woody dry-down, you’ll fall in love. It’s a clear 9/10 and has earned a privileged spot in my collection.

  • Fernanperez

Amazing perfume! As I read below: 60% Black XS and 40% CDN. Perfect for daily wear in spring and summer!

  • I bought it last November, and it’s exactly as many say: ‘macerated pineapple.’ It’s not a bad smell, though there are better things out there. Regarding longevity, like most Arab fragrances in this price range, it’s not much—about 3-4 hours on skin and a bit longer on clothes. Note: I let it mature and used it after 8 months; the longevity changed completely, lasting until the next day on skin, and even after 5 days on clothes, it was still noticeable. The secret of the Arabs is maceration…

  • Yarielfragancia

To me, this smells only of pineapple and lasts a maximum of 2 hours, maybe an hour more on clothes (I wouldn’t buy it again). 4/10.

  • Aaron J. Presley

Even when I apply it, I barely notice it on my skin and only slightly on clothes; with ten fewer sprays and some effort, it’s almost imperceptible. The scent is identical to 9 AM Rebel, just smokier, but the performance is mediocre, to put it lightly. I don’t recommend it, especially if you already own Rebel or vice versa. I wonder if we’re being taken for fools and don’t realize how much recycling they do with the same pineapple scent—they just change the bottle, the name, and jack up the price with phantom notes listed in the profile but absent in the actual perfume. Anyway, Arab companies are already riding the hype and momentary exuberance to sell anything.

  • Emilio E.M.G.

I always let them mature for at least eight weeks because that’s when they truly shine, just like you can’t judge a person by their childhood. On my skin, Al Fursan is fruity and slightly intense, with a rich smoky touch—warmer than fresh, quite versatile, and lasts about six hours. You won’t get dizzy, but considering the price, the value is brutal.

  • Juanfran Á

For what it’s worth, you can’t expect much, and it’s clear the pineapple is ripe, sweet, but 100% synthetic. Don’t demand much from the longevity; it lasts 4-5 hours. I’d use it in summer and hot nights. It’s a perfume without glory or shame, but for the price, I recommend buying it blind; it won’t drain your wallet, lol.

  • As others have mentioned, I also smell Raid insecticide; it’s very synthetic. If you over-spray, it’s overwhelming and you can’t even stand it yourself. Compared to the pineapple in Urban Man Elixir, neither really convinces; they smell synthetic and cheap. Zero compliments.

  • Let me summarize this fragrance as best as I can: it smells like a hard pineapple caramel with sweet woody undertones, very attractive and rich, one of those scents you can’t stop sniffing. That’s the only good thing. Longevity doesn’t pass 3 hours and 30 minutes, and the trail is nearly non-existent; only a zombie will be able to smell it because you have to get really close. My recommendation: go for 9PM Rebel, it’s 70% similar, gives it a fruitier, party vibe, and its performance is far superior to Qaed.

  • It’s super synthetic. The first time you smell it, it feels rich, but the illusion lasts no more than 10 minutes. After that, it starts to get cloying. Ironically, it has zero longevity; after a couple of hours, it’s gone. If I spray more than 5 times, I start to get dizzy. I would never buy it again.

  • alpacavelluda

I don’t know why this perfume gets criticized so much; for the price, it smells pretty good. The pineapple note is incredibly well done.

  • A friend gifted me a decant and I felt that decant was very fruity and fresh. Then I bought the full bottle and started feeling fruity, but it shifted from fresh to sweet, sometimes cloying. I wouldn’t recommend it for extreme heat or midday; after 3 or 4 PM it’s fine, literally smells like pineapple.

  • valentinophantom

Terrible dupe of Black XS. The perfume itself smells okay, lots of pineapple, but the longevity is poor and it smells excessively like Baccarat Rouge. It’s identical to 9PM Rebel. As a standalone scent: 6/10. As a Black XS dupe: 2/10.

  • Andrés Maetxa

Yes, it’s versatile, and that’s the only thing that attracts me. It’s like a thick pineapple liqueur with a woody base. They say it’s heavy for summer, but it doesn’t feel heavy at all. I don’t feel it’s unisex; if a woman wore it, I wouldn’t like it. It stays the same the whole time: pineapple comes out and stays pineapple. Very boring. I’ve had it for 8 months and it doesn’t bother me in any season. Scent: 3.8, Projection: 7.3, Longevity: 6.8. Final rating: 5/10.

  • Qaed Al Fursan by Lattafa: Starts with a juicy pineapple note, though with a metallic touch, quickly giving way to a base of cedar and balsam fir that adds freshness and cleanliness. By the end, the freshness fades, leaving behind a dark resinous amber. I find it rich and addictive, but the evolution is boring and linear. Lasts about 3 hours on skin, then becomes almost invisible, though it lasts longer on clothes. Ideal for sunny spring or autumn days, for heading to uni, the grocery store, or a casual date. Works well for ages 18 to 40. The box is ugly and bulky, but the bottle looks nice. Maceration didn’t do any miracles; it smells different on skin than on blotter. It delivers, but I’d only recommend it if you catch it on sale. Decent value for money.

  • This was a blind buy and it turned out well, plus the price is a joke at 15 euros. Later I saw the hype and was surprised it was already out of stock online. To be honest, I don’t like the opening; it sounds super synthetic and petrol-like, but after 10 minutes, when it dries down and the pineapple note kicks in, I love it. It reminds me of Rabanne’s Black XS, though the synthetic vibe is noticeable. The performance is brutal—10 hours on skin and even more on clothes. Unbeatable value. That said, when the bottle runs out, I’m not repurchasing.

  • JohnAcosta25

Succulent pineapple and woods, a younger and more versatile take on the Aventus DNA, which is already overused. For the price and what it offers, you can’t ask for more. Lasts a solid 3 to 5 hours. It’s going on my gift list for a teen in the family when I’m stuck on what to buy, alongside scents like Nautica Voyage, Asad, or Montblanc.

  • Pineapple, pineapple, and more pineapple would be the best way to summarize it, but I’m one of those who likes to linger (honestly, a bit too much). I bought it to fill a cart and get closer to that scent I’d heard of before, with low expectations. It smells of sweet ripe pineapple with subtle saffron notes giving it a tiny ‘kick’ but very mild, like it’s been diluted with sugar. The drydown is similar to the start but with a woody sensation suggesting oud, though it’s more cedar with Iso E Super or a synthetic wood note. Performance after maceration/oxidation is low: when I first got it, it lasted a breath; now it maxes out at 4 hours on skin (6 on clothes). Projects moderately for the first hour. For the price you pay, it’s good; I can’t believe it projects for more than 8 hours. I consider it casual, for hanging around the house or occasional walks, like going to the grocery store. If you want to wear it on long outings, I recommend decants. It’s correct; the fruity scent is addictive without being overwhelming. I was surprised to use it as a go-to when I don’t want to think too hard about what to wear. It’s good, but after finishing the bottle, I doubt I’ll buy another, as there are juicier pineapple alternatives on the market that catch my eye more, like 9PM Rebel and Nitro Platinum. Only time will tell if it remains the queen of sweet pineapples.

  • Choklito-EDP

Great value perfume. The opening is very fruity, with pineapple dominating and well-executed; it’s not a citrusy pineapple like others, this one goes for sweet. With the combination of saffron and woods, it’s masculine and versatile for daily use in spring or autumn, day and night. In summer or extreme heat, I don’t think it’s a good option, as it’s a sweet pineapple not particularly summery. As a negative, it doesn’t have much evolution; the scent in the opening and drydown doesn’t vary much, making it linear. Regarding longevity, at first it lasted nothing, with poor performance. A couple of months later, it improved significantly, lasting up to 8 hours with an initial trail of 2 hours. If you’re looking for a budget alternative to 9PM Rebel or Rave NOW, the truth is they’re very similar.

  • Smells like a piña colada. Performance is weak, barely lasting 3/4 hours even after maceration, though projection improved slightly. At €20, I still recommend it despite the hype and short longevity. In intense heat it can get cloying, but on a breezy beach day with cocktails, it’s perfect.

  • Marcos Carbajal

I was gifted this and wasn’t very hopeful, but it’s an addictive scent that doesn’t bother: ripe, spicy pineapple from the saffron, with a cedar and amber base. I wore it all summer in South America; while I might switch it up, I love its DNA for the beach. I wouldn’t wear it at night, but 9PM Rebel could be better. Perfect for outdoor activities.

  • It’s like opening a can of pineapple in syrup; I like it. It doesn’t last long and the trail is short. Just arrived, so we’ll see if maceration boosts it. Super cheap, so I have to reapply like crazy. It’s versatile.

  • At first, it just smelled of dry wood and pineapple with no projection. But after wearing it to work, I was surprised: a sweet, addictive woody pineapple. It projected well for two hours before settling into a pleasant personal bubble. I’m not sure if it left a trail or if it was just olfactory fatigue, but I felt great. If you don’t like it at first, be patient and wear it occasionally. For the current price, it’s a basic but necessary piece for any collection.

  • In 30-degree summer heat in Argentina, this scent is juicy and mature, featuring a pineapple top note superior to others and a woody base that keeps it from getting too sweet. It lasts about 4 hours on skin with a good hour of projection, then settles into a nice skin scent. At $25, it’s a great pick for spring and summer daily wear, though the performance really leaves something to be desired.

  • Dark masculine pineapple, sweet but not cloying. The only downside is longevity: 3/4 hours with weak projection.
