Descripción

Chanel's Bleu de Chanel All-Over Spray is a men's fragrance from the olfactive family launched in 2021. The nose behind this creation is Jacques Polge. The top notes unfold with grapefruit, mint, pink pepper, and lemon; the heart reveals ginger, jasmine, Iso E Super, and nutmeg; while the base settles on incense, cedar, white musk, patchouli, labdanum, vetiver, and sandalwood.

  • It offers the Bleu fragrance, but it’s hard to apply and doesn’t last at all. It’s very different from the Sauvage Very Cool Spray, which has a real applicator; after a good spray, you can smell an exquisite Sauvage scent for hours, with more citrus than the EDT. A disappointing presentation for Bleu.

🔎👃🏻INITIAL THOUGHTS👃🏻🔍 The first thing that caught me off guard was Chanel deciding to release a ‘Very Cool’ style spray of Dior instead of launching a new, powerful composition. With the brand losing prestige due to passivity and watered-down reformulations, I expected at least they’d beat their own performance bar, which isn’t hard these days. Well, neither happened; in fact, it smells even weaker. Really, Chanel? For real? Not even two hours of moderate projection. By the third hour, I have to bury my nose 🤦🏻. Just so you know, the scent is still nice and drifts a bit from the original Bleu with a melon note that I found really pleasant, wow. But why not make something that lasts and projects for about 6 hours? As a fragrance, it’s decent, I like it, but nothing new. In terms of performance, it’s abysmal. If they intended to compete with Dior, I’m afraid they’re still lightyears behind. There are rumors they want to launch a new perfume, fingers crossed… Let’s hope they don’t stay on this path. Usually, I give 1 to 5 stars, but for the first time I’m changing the icon because it’s unbelievable that this house keeps treating its customers this way. 💩💩💩💩💩
