They gave this to me thinking I loved Demeter-style perfumes, but it smells like dirty laundry and a smoker’s chair; it gave me a headache and I had to take a shower to get it off. I have no idea who would wear this.
It smells like pure cigarette ash. I’ll have to mix it with something citrusy to tone down the burnt pipe note—maybe vetiver or lemon would work better. It lacks that sweet tobacco fragrance found in other scents. It feels like someone smoked all day; it’s missing two notes to refine it, like lemon-orange-geranium, to give it a subtle touch of rough, burnt pipe.
