  1. This collection is gorgeous. It’s a vanilla that isn’t overly sweet or suffocating right out of the bottle, and the dry-down is fantastic. I keep it for layering with other scents or wearing it alone because it’s super versatile. It lasts forever on my skin.

I tested it before buying and I’m thankful I did. To start, it’s an extremely synthetic fragrance—a fake vanilla I’ve never heard of. My nose picks up a sour note on that custard, like slightly spoiled milk. I’m a lover of sweet scents, but I couldn’t handle this; it made me dizzy and overwhelmed to the point of giving up. It’s heavy and intense, though not in projection, but in the scent itself—it’s too dense. It was hot (32°C) and I couldn’t take it; it saturated me so much that even after showering, I still smelled its awful presence on my nose. Maybe it would work in freezing weather, but I wouldn’t buy it under any circumstances. Scent: 2/10 Sillage: 6/10

I tested it before buying and I’m thankful I did. At first, it smells super synthetic—a fake vanilla so bad it makes me nauseous, like slightly spoiled milk. I’m a sweet lover, but I can’t handle this one; it made me dizzy and was so overpowering I had to shower to get rid of it, yet I still feel its terrible presence. Maybe it works cold, but I wouldn’t buy it. Scent: 2/10 Sillage: 6/10

  5. I own the Bare Vanilla (amazing, I recommend it) and picked this thinking it would be the same, but it’s not. It barely smells when first applied; I don’t detect any vanilla. Honestly, it smells like toothpaste. I love mint, but this smells like toothpaste cream to me.
