Urbieta Perfumery in San Sebastián is a classic and one of the best in the city. Ondarea is their own brand, created by Rodrigo Flores-Roux, who collaborated with Santi Burgas. I know it well; it’s a staple in my home. Ondarea means ‘Legacy’ in Basque and fits the scent perfectly. It has the DNA of classic colognes but with a green twist that modernizes it and ensures excellent longevity. The fruity notes make it creamy and sweet without masking the citrusy, refreshing top. Ideal for summer, semi-formal, or formal occasions, crafted with top-tier natural ingredients that show Flores-Roux’s care—the same talent that updated Fougère Royal. Like the city, it’s elegant and chic, understated yet full of savoir-faire. A national perfumery that doesn’t envy the Italian or French. Simple yet elegant packaging with designer pricing and niche quality. Au revoir!
