Enduring Glow by Jennifer Lopez

A friend recommended it to me, and seeing it compared to Chloé, I bought it without hesitation. It’s pure floral, just like the name suggests. It’s not like Glow Miami; that one is fruity, short-lived, and didn’t work for me. Note: don’t judge by the opening; the lychee at first can be a bit annoying. After 10 minutes, the flowers take over—pink magnolias and peonies—that dry down with musk and sandalwood for a clean floral vibe. Perfect for everyday wear; although I met it in autumn, I think it shines more in spring and summer. Updated in September 2024: what a lovely scent, I wore it tonight and it’s gorgeous. It’s a true all-rounder, 10/10.

Bought it blind after reading reviews here with no big expectations, but I absolutely love it. Even though I’m not a fan of lychee, it smells divine in this one. I already own the original Glow and it’s one of my favorites, but I adore this one just as much. The longevity is almost eternal (at least on me) and the projection is great; people almost always ask what I’m wearing and are blown away when I tell them the name, plus it’s an incredible deal.

My aunt gifted me this along with Glow a few months ago. Glow didn’t work for me at first; she adores it, using it for walks or sleep because it’s like a second skin—nude, like you just got out of the shower. It’s floral and soapy, doesn’t fit my personality, and dries down very linearly. But Enduring Glow, I like just as it is. It’s for daily wear, versatile depending on the weather, though I’ve only used it in spring and summer. I’d categorize it as an everyday perfume: office, going out, or sleeping on a cool night. It’s simple yet special, clean, fresh, and sweet; when it dries, the flowers dominate on my skin. I like it because, although simple, it’s not flat and beats any body mist. I’d buy it again for how easy it is to wear and the great price. The note blend reminds me of a time when I fell in love with the scent of a fragrance I never knew the name of; back then I didn’t pay it much attention, but Enduring Glow brought back that lost aroma I hadn’t found again.

The opening is very strong, I think it’s the bergamot, a very marked smell. As it dries, the delicate floral notes come through, but I wouldn’t buy it again because it’s too similar to Herbae by L’Occitane, which I also own. I use it for very cool nights and in cold climates.

Smells like florals and water, lasts over 8 hours on skin and days on clothes. I recommend it for daytime wear, whether in summer or winter.
