It smells amazing; I love the refreshing blend of white flowers and fruits with a hint of pink pepper and a warm, woody, very amber base. It lasts as long as any eau de toilette, about 3 hours, with a moderate trail for another couple of hours. For me, it’s perfect because I only use it in spring and summer; I reapply generously every three hours to combat the heat. In summer, it’s a pleasure and almost a necessity to spray on when it’s 43°C in the shade, and the bottle and cheap price allow you to keep doing it until the temperature drops a degree, which is a relief. I buy them during summer sales at El Corte Inglés, and the prices make you weak; over the years, I’ve accumulated 10 or 12 bottles between new ones and from previous summers. Those who complain about the low performance understand, they smell so good that we all want them to last like an eau de parfum, but they aren’t, and that expectation isn’t warranted; as an eau de toilette, they more than suffice in creativity, good taste, versatility, variety, packaging, and price, competing with other EDTs like most of Guerlain’s Aqua Allegorias, which have worse performance and a higher price. I believe this series is designed for summer, to refresh you and allow reapplication, hence the 150ml size and how affordable they are; for that and because they smell so good, all of them are among the most popular and have succeeded, truly deserving it, and I’m very happy about that.

It smells like death, but I absolutely love those white flowers and fruits with a touch of pink pepper, plus that warm, woody, super-ambery base. It lasts the normal amount for an EDT, about 3 hours, and the trail lingers for another couple of hours. For me, it’s my everyday scent because I only wear these fragrances in spring and summer; after three hours, I generously reapply to combat the heat. In summer, it’s a pleasure and almost a necessity to spray yourself when it’s 43°C in the shade, and at this price point, you can afford to douse yourself until you feel a degree cooler—that’s a relief. I buy them during the summer sales at El Corte Inglés, and the prices make you sin; there have been years I ended up with 10 or 12 bottles between new ones and stock from previous summers. Some complain about the poor performance, and I get it because they smell so good that everyone wishes they lasted like an Eau de Parfum and had more projection, but they aren’t, and that expectation is misplaced. As an EDT, they more than deliver in every way: creativity, taste, versatility, variety, packaging, and price. I believe they can victoriously compete with other EDTs of this style, for example, with most of Guerlain’s Aqua Allegorias, which have worse performance and higher prices year by year. I think this series is designed for summer, to refresh you and allow generous reapplication, which is why they come in 150ml and are so cheap. That’s why, along with how well they all smell, they are so popular and have succeeded; they truly deserve it, and I’m very happy about that.

  3. If this perfume has one virtue, it’s honesty. The quality-to-price ratio is superb, with notes of a high caliber. The enigmatic amber is an excellent white musk, paired with a very natural, earthy patchouli. Even though it’s amber, it doesn’t smell old; the ambrette seed (which reminds me of dark chocolate) gives it a modern touch. The longevity is weak, but for €10 on 150ml, you can’t ask for more. Spray it without guilt; it always leaves a warm, sensual trail. Learn from new detergent and laundry detergent makers like YSL, Calvin Klein, and others. The price doesn’t clash with the quality and distinction. Victorio & Lucchino don’t deceive and are honest. A good fragrance and totally unisex.

  4. If there’s one thing this perfume offers, it’s honesty. It presents a superb quality-to-price ratio and high-quality notes. Ambre Enigmatique is an excellent quality white musk aroma, accompanied by very natural, earthy patchouli notes. Despite being an amber scent, it doesn’t smell old; the ambrette seed (which personally reminds me of dark chocolate) gives it a very modern touch. The performance is a bit weak, but for €10 for 150ml, you can’t ask for more. You can spray without a second thought, always leaving a warm and sensual trail. Learn new detergent and bleach manufacturers (that is to say… YSL, Calvin Klein, and others). The price isn’t incompatible with quality and distinguished aromas. Victorio & Lucchino don’t deceive anyone; they are honest. Good fragrance, plus totally unisex.
