A gorgeous fragrance signed by Nathalie Lorson, the mind behind huge hits like Alien Goddess or Black Opium. If you fell in love with Prada’s Infusion d’Iris, this Nuée Bleue is your next obsession. The iris is just as clean and powdery, but it gets a citrus twist that makes it fresher and sparklier, taking it to another level. Plus, it lasts a bit better than its Prada cousin. While I still prefer Aperitivo Milanese Porta Nuova for that almond and amaretto note that adds warmth and longevity, this is a fantastic option within the style.
A lovely fragrance by Nathalie Lorson (she’s done Petits et Mamans for Bvlgari, Perles de Lalique, Alien Goddess, Black Opium, among others). If you like Prada’s Infusion d’Iris, you’ll enjoy this Nuée bleue. The iris is worked the same way: clean, powdery, and elegant, but here it has a more citrusy finish that gives it freshness, a spark, and makes it easier to wear. Plus, it performs a bit better than its Prada cousin. Within this style, my favorite remains Aperitivo Milanese Porta Nuova, which also recalls Infusion d’Iris but adds sweet almond and a hint of amaretto, bringing warmth and better longevity.
