Terre d’Hermès, but with a greener twist and maybe, just maybe, a bit more longevity. Period.

Reminds me a lot of Terre d’Hermes; personally, I’d choose this one over it, though I sense the vetiver is ideal for a more mature crowd. Great quality, longevity, and projection.

Very good fragrance, and yes, it’s a niche Terre d’Hermes. The scent revolves around a fresh vetiver. The opening is citrusy and finishes with creamy accords and a sweet touch. Honestly, I prefer it to the original, even with that extra price tag. It projects well and lasts more than 7 hours. Not surprising, but it’s an excellent option for intermediate days and very versatile.

Sorry, but I’ll say the same as everyone else: Terre d’Hermès, is it you? No, it’s not the same. In essence, it’s very similar, but in my opinion, it’s more beautiful. The herbal notes remind me of a walk through the countryside, running my hands over aromatic grass that releases an explosive cloud of scent, while the fruity citrus notes feel softer and sweeter, making it more general and appealing to younger people than Hermès, plus more pleasant for women, as the original smells too strong to them. Daniel’s performance is better: longer-lasting and more endurance. With Hermès, I need to drench myself and reapply every 4 or 5 hours, whereas here, a decent 8-hour longevity seems appropriate. Very versatile yet elegant; can be worn all year without issues.

Arrived in the collection, and what can I say… I’m DELIGHTED. It’s true that it follows the same line as Terre d’Hermès (which I adore), but it undeniably surpasses it in overall quality, though scent is subjective. Imagine a fresh, sparkling opening like A Midsummer Dream, an elegant and sober heart like Oligarch, and a mature base in the style of Terre d’Hermès. All wrapped in a green frame with the Daniel Josier signature: polished and accessible, which will please almost everyone. It’s an attractive, mature, elegant fragrance with a spicy and sensual twist that even my wife, who’s tired of smelling my perfumes, commented on. She said: ‘Keep asking for another bottle.’ Mentally, I see it as an individual with a path made, clear ideas, elegant and in his place, but with a relaxed and sparkling tone because life gives plenty of headaches; that confidence gives him the extra appeal. He knows what to do without shortcuts. It’s a well-rounded composition with a successful DNA, enhanced with attractive olfactory touches, made without rough edges, very well finished, and it pleases almost any nose. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

This defines the QUALITY of Daniel Josier. The vetiver isn’t a projection monster, but it smells impeccable and refined, very pleasant and non-intrusive. It lasts more than 12 hours on my skin, simply wow, though I still consider Ambre Tabac the house’s star.

It smells almost identical to Terre d’Hermès, perhaps without that pinch of mineral. It’s all vetiver: dry and with a spicy touch. The citrus (bergamot and grapefruit) do the same thing as in Hermès, except they use orange there. The scent is very linear, almost identical at the start and end. It’s very woody, dry, and mature, although of good quality. The performance is good; perhaps it beats current Hermès; it lasts quite a while and is noticeable. I’d use it in any weather; it’s more masculine. The perfume is good, the notes are natural and achieved. The only downside is that it’s not original and the price is high for what it offers. Not my style, but vetiver lovers will enjoy it.
