  • Smells super citrusy; the orange note is very potent. Ideal for summer, day or night, as it has a sweet yet subtle touch, perfect for a hot evening. Nothing groundbreaking, it smells very similar to Creed’s Silver Mountain Water.

  • DO NOT BUY IT. It has a simple air-freshener smell mixed with the scent of car seat leather. I would never feel comfortable wearing something like that.

  • A very simple citrus perfume, no longevity, no projection, no soul, similar to other cheaper citrus scents, with an ALARMINGLY HIGH price that is NOT justified by the misery it offers. If you’re interested, try it first. For me, it’s a scam; its price is based solely on the luxury brand’s fame distributing it. An absolute NO for me.

  • I love it. To me, it’s so much more than just simple oranges and bergamot; it has a complex, rich base with amber, modern molecules, and components that retain a mandarin scent. It’s not a simple cologne; it smells like a sexy, elegant, modern perfume, a magnet for compliments. The 300€ price tag is crazy, even if it were oud or vanilla, but with haute couture, you have to accept it. I disagree with those who say it’s simple or doesn’t last; every nose is different.

  • I like it, I like it a lot. For me, it’s much more than simple oranges and bergamots. It has a very complex and rich base in the dry down, made of amber, modern molecules, and components that trap the orange scent. It doesn’t seem to me at all like a simple cologne. It might have cologne vibes, but with so much more in its composition, making it smell like a very sexy, elegant, and modern perfume. A huge compliment magnet. As for the price? I think 300€ per bottle is crazy. Even if it were Oud or vanilla absolute, the price is too high. But we’re talking high fashion and luxury, so we have to accept it. I disagree with opinions on its simplicity and performance, but every nose is different and there are a thousand factors. Miao😊

  • Well, it is indeed very expensive, no need to sugarcoat it. I resisted buying it because I refused to spend such a fortune on a perfume that just smells like citrus… But what citrus… What well-made it is… The charm doesn’t lie in complexity. What’s wonderful is the naturalness it exudes and how well it fits for layering (though I’m not a regular, I only do it with this). Special mention for anyone who owns and can try these two: Gucci Mémoire d’une odeur and Loewe Paula’s Ibiza. Both work fantastically with 3 or 4 sprays on top. Longevity isn’t bad for a citrus. Projects well for the first two hours, then fades until it’s skin-scent for another three or four. Whether it’s worth it depends on everyone. I bought it on discount early summer after concluding I had over-100€ perfumes I didn’t like half as much as this. P.S.: it has more nuances than it seems.

  • It’s in my top 3 heat perfumes. For everyday wear when it’s not a very elegant occasion, it’s the best. •SCENT: Simple but incredible. Sometimes less is more; the quality is unmatched, smells like orange and bergamot up front, totally realistic, with that sharp ginger kick. I read it smells like car air freshener, couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s a clean, sexy citrus scent. •LONGEVITY: Average, not bad for a citrus, 5-6h. •PROJECTION: Projects well for 1.5h, then stays in a personal bubble. I reapply at the third hour and it always holds. •PRICE: It’s pricey, but worth it. The good thing is there’s a refill in store at almost half the price.

  • Smells great! Fresh but with personality, just like its name suggests, ideal for an afternoon in summer after swimming in the sea.

  • If they told me it was a 70-euro perfume, I’d believe it: soulless citrus, like throwing a bucket of citrus into a pool and scooping up the water hours later. The ginger is barely noticeable. I also don’t find it refreshing. Guerlain’s Mandarine Basilic is cheaper, revitalizing, and features sharp, realistic citrus notes.

  • Smells great! Fresh but with personality, just like its name says: perfect for a summer afternoon after swimming in the sea.

The scent is a 10/10, better than Imagination and L’Immensité; gets tons of compliments. But I feel like it’s gone after half an hour. If this perfume lasted as long as Imagination, it would be one of the best.

Orange, orange, and more orange. It’s citrusy, a bit sweet, and synthetic. If you like citrus, you’ll love it. As it dries down, the ginger kicks in for an extra power boost. I see it as ideal for low-energy days when you need a pick-me-up. It reminds me a lot of the first ‘Mandarina Duck’ fragrance from 2000, which smelled exactly the same and is now gone, what a pity.

It’s like peeling an orange skin off instantly… puf! An explosion of zest with a hint of ginger that gives it a lemony vibe 🍋🟩. I love it; smells clean and refreshes the soul. The price is a steal (330$), but if you have the cash, buy it—it’s delicious. Lasts about 6h, longer than other fresh LV scents. Update 1/15/2025: after two months, once it dries down properly, the scent changes; it’s no longer just orange, it has chemical notes that give it strength and an aquatic touch, I think aquozone, like in Valentino Born in Roma or Light Blue Forever. It’s a delight, people ask me on the street what I’m wearing 💙

  • Scent: 5/10 – tangerine, fresh, and clean. Longevity: 0/10 – half an hour and byebye; 10-12 sprays. Sillage: 0/10 – trash.

I LIKE it, but there’s something stopping me from buying it… I detect certain undeclared notes. This has geranium; I can smell it from the start, and it becomes more prominent as it dries when the fruity notes fade. That note can easily be confused or blended well with mint (try d’Hubert from the Leau Revee collection by Sisley). I also think it contains Calone, which gives it body and that aquatic or marine sensation. It’s definitely more than just tangerine and oranges; ginger is also a small part of the total nuances. It’s quite complex; many say it’s just tangerine, try Mandarine Basilic, and it might remind you of this but in a very EMPTY way. I finished a 10ml decant and consider I didn’t use it so much as study it; every time I wore it, I was baffled. Regarding longevity, this doesn’t drop below 5 hours; on the first few days, try just 1 or 2 sprays because it causes olfactory fatigue. Add to that the strong projection in the first hour; it’s normal for the nose to get saturated.

  • For those who say Afternoon Swim smells like ‘another perfume’ or a car air freshener, you probably smelled a clone; this is the definitive summer scent. Imagine being near a pool with the sun beating down, so you decide to cut oranges to squeeze their juice… that blend of water and citrus is Afternoon Swim. It features very realistic orange and tangerine notes with a poolside vibe (not chlorine or salt), but a light aquatic effect that makes it summer’s best ally. It’s from LV and excessively pricey; many prefer cheaper options, but something about this perfume is addictive. The trail and longevity are controversial; many stop smelling it within the first two hours. For me, it lasts about as long as an average citrus, around 5 hours, without over-spraying.

  • A very rich perfume with a great scent that I really like, but it doesn’t last long. Honestly, I don’t think it’s worth the price; if it were cheaper, it would definitely be worth it.

Whatever people say about the longevity, this is THE DEFINITIVE SUMMER PERFUME. SMELL: Definitely the best from Louis Vuitton. To me, it smells like caramelized oranges; as it dries down, the caramel fades and you get lemon, a touch of amber, and the tangerine on its own. Out of hundreds of commercial and niche perfumes I’ve tried, none have pleased me as much or come close. If you want a unique scent that no one else has, this is it. LONGEVITY: I recommend at least 6 sprays at first to get about 3 hours with good projection; then it lasts another 3 hours on the skin. PROJECTION: With 6 sprays, it’s powerful for 2-3 hours. In places hotter than 34°C, I use 10-12 sprays and it becomes a total bomb with projection and compliments. PRICE: I got it for $240 USD at LV Chile, every penny worth. No matter the price, I’d buy it again without hesitation. No perfume comes close. Don’t risk it with a dupe—quality has its price. Once you smell the original, there’s no going back. It’s the safest summer purchase. I only recommend it for intense heat; I used it in summer in Europe and the Dominican Republic. In places below 30°C, it doesn’t deliver its full power.

  • In my opinion, it’s a good fragrance; nothing overwhelming, but it has its own charm. I imagine a sunny afternoon by the pool. Good projection, good sillage, and decent longevity. A fragrance for casual use, during the day under a clear sky.

In my opinion, it’s a great scent—nothing too overpowering, but it has its own charm. It reminds me of a sunny afternoon by the pool. Projection, sillage, and longevity are all good. A casual fragrance, perfect for a clear-sky day.

  • Orange peel, lemon juice, and citrus trees. A sharp opening that lasts quite a while; it’s hyper-realistic, like you’re squeezing lemons, limes, and oranges. I LOVE IT. Perfect for intense heat, unisex, and easy to wear. 10/10. The price might seem high, but I can’t see any house making a citrus scent this good with this quality and longevity at a more accessible price.

  • xavi40rios

I’ll be honest: I bought it for uni and this summer, something fresh and rich. On the go, it smells like Creed’s Silver Mountain Water, very similar. I’d give it a 9.5/10; it’s perfect. The only downside besides the price is longevity on skin: it fades quickly, about 4 hours before it’s gone, though it might last up to 7 on clothes. Otherwise, it’s a great option for this summer.

  • Orange peel, lemon juice, and citrus notes. The opening is sharp and lasts a good while, which is rare for a citrus. It smells hyper-realistic like you’re peeling lemons, limes, and oranges—I love it. Perfect for intense heat, unisex, and easy to wear. 10/10. The price seems high, but I can’t think of any house making a citrus this good, long-lasting, and accessible with this quality.

Afternoon Swim has a special charm, ideal for the heat. It smells great above 80 degrees, perfect for the beach or post-workout. As soon as you apply it, it transports you to the coast with a sea breeze and freshly squeezed orange, like childhood memories. The first two hours are citrusy and watery, clean and fresh like a sunny day. By three or four hours, the projection drops, but an ambered tangerine remains close to the skin. In short, it’s fresh and clean, ideal post-shower or for subtle freshness, a silent luxury.

  • I went on vacation and had several Aperol spritzes; it smells exactly the same, haha, so delicious!!

  • Undoubtedly the best summer perfume in the LV line. It smells like extremely expensive and luxurious sunscreen, ideal for the beach, pool, or late afternoon. Honestly, I HOPE it lasts more than an hour on the skin, I HOPE, because I wouldn’t buy it solely for longevity, but the scent is exquisite, I have no doubt about that.

I tried it in Vegas at the end of October, with that fresh desert air; the scent was so incredible I wanted my decant to stay glued to my nose all day. It was instant love at first sniff. On my skin, it lasted about 3 hours, but nothing fixes a few sprays of perfume. Fresh, citrusy, and fruity. 10/10.

  • Afternoon Swim by LV: simplicity can be fantastic. Everything stems from its name, ‘swimming in the afternoon,’ and in that sense, it’s perfect. It’s clean, fresh, crystal-clear, pleasant, and that specific blue pool vibe. If fruits had days: banana is Monday (energetic), apple is Wednesday (juicy), and tangerine is Friday (vacations, sweet, and cheerful). It achieves a refreshing joy mixed with a crystal-clean charm. It’s a simple but bold statement of good taste. Yes, some might say it’s not surprising, but you have to see what it really is: a simple, fresh, and charming scent. It’s pricey, and projection and longevity aren’t its strong suits, but the smell is. If you can afford the luxury, go for it; if not, there are budget-friendly options that give you a very close idea at a more accessible price. Scent: 10/10. Projection: 2 hours. Longevity: max 6 hours. Recommended.

  • It smells very similar to Imagination to me, but this one is much better. The issue is longevity; it fades fast. At least Imagination has some body; here, once the citrus fades, you’re left with a faint ambroxan scent. It suffers the same fate as most LV fragrances: overpriced and synthetic. Nothing feels photorealistic. That’s why there are so many cheap knockoffs—they use a cheap, synthetic base DNA.

  • The Achilles’ heel is definitely longevity; it doesn’t even last an hour. But in those minutes, it smells incredibly rich, with high-quality materials and a very realistic orange, like the juice my grandma used to make me as a kid. Some people smell cleaner or air freshener in it, but I love its very natural scent, ideal for heat or the beach. Given the high price and short longevity, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you don’t mind reapplying. In cold weather, it feels more potent and sweet, very pleasant.

  • Pure summer vibes, youthful and citrusy without being a typical cologne. It has that natural fruit sweetness that reminds me of a Saturday afternoon just out of the pool, perfect for sipping an orange juice that refreshes your soul. Casual, beach-ready, but not tropical—pure citrus. Scent: 10/10, Price: 5/10, Projection: 7/10, Longevity: 6/10.

This is a beast. Lasts 8 hours on my skin and a week on clothes without fail. Absolutely amazing.
