It smells like nothing. On Fragrantica, several French users note the same thing. I literally smell zero. It just arrived, after I tested several at Lafayette (the French department store) that were spectacular: Tendre Madeleine (seriously, if it’s the most famous for a reason: lily + lolita), Rose Oud (I have tons of that combo, which is my favorite in perfumery, and this one is brutal. I found the little paper where I applied it in my bag, and two weeks later it still smells), Vanille Noire (super well-made, round vanilla for personal enjoyment), Vanille Patchouli (it’s horrible), and Vanille de la Réunion. The last one I loved so much I bought the Orientale because they said it was similar, and it was on sale at Beauté Privée. Well, I could have saved the money; I can’t smell it even when I’m right up against it.
