If I had to choose one word, it’s JOY. It’s luminous, elegant, and sophisticated. Every time I wear it, I stay in a cloud of freshness, cleanliness, and harmony. Its floral and honey notes on my skin have great balance and sweetness. It’s like stepping out of the shower with a luxury cream, waiting for it to absorb with a gentle breeze and the sun. It’s lucky enough to last more than 8 hours and I always perceive it. Its best moments are in warm, daytime hours, though it works all year round thanks to that clean touch. Although it’s more feminine, on male skin it highlights its clean-floral side, and I always receive compliments. It’s suitable for any occasion; you project elegance and kindness. It’s linear, without many changes, though over time the floral notes dominate without losing the cleanliness. The bottle is classic, with straight lines and curves plus a magnetic cap; be careful when opening the box, it’s fragile. It’s one of my first high-end perfumes, and I remember the feeling of the first test. It generates tenderness in me, perhaps due to that tropical touch that reminds me of my home country and a happy childhood. Definitely one of my favorites; it gives me peace and confidence; don’t hesitate to try it.

Beige is that beige suit of refinement and wealth that doesn’t feel distant, but rather close and natural. It transports me to red carpets where, despite the apparent naturalness, you can sense the effort to uphold such splendid beauty. It’s luxury makeup that nourishes and illuminates the skin rather than covering it. Its superpower is being able to wear sneakers and still feel like Grace Kelly while breathing.

I haven’t tried many perfumes in months and have limited myself to Cabotine and Álvarez Gómez, so I admit I’m a bit rusty at distinguishing notes. Please excuse the simplicity in my description. No name has ever seemed so fitting. Beige symbolizes class, but also restraint and boredom, which is exactly what this fragrance is: a lovely little thing, elegant and plain. On my skin, creamy white flowers stand out, very similar to those in Floris’s Bouquet de la Reine, evoking a sophisticated woman on her wedding day. Its sillage is almost non-existent (and makes sense, it’s beige!), yet I could still smell it on my skin after 12 hours. It’s a close-range scent; I’d wear it daily if it weren’t so expensive. Since it’s so similar to Floris (which costs less than $75 online), I’d lean toward the British one. Still, Beige is a gem that made me enjoy my morning a little more.

Masterpiece by Chanel. If elegance and delicacy had a name, it would be “Beige”. It’s expensive and I committed the madness of buying it blind, but I hit the mark perfectly. It has the maison’s seal, undisputable quality. I don’t see it as old-fashioned; on the contrary, anyone can wear it and I see a youthful and delicate touch that makes you feel wonderful. Yellow, with quality, pretty, youthful, plain, not very special, great longevity, little trail. I’m going to ramble a bit. Today I took a little off to wear it and my impressions are the same. The problem is that of the four notes I only know the honey. It’s quite flat, evolving subtly and slowly. The opening is a slap of ylang that later reminds me of Nº22. Then the scent disintegrates and becomes pollinated. The honey is very subtle, elegant, and not edible at all, just giving relief to the flowers. It’s not sweet, it has a slightly bitter and expectorant tone that reminds me of ylang. According to the sheets, freesia appears at the beginning and stays as the protagonist, reminding me of My Burberry and Nivea cream (I enjoy Beige more than My Burberry which is sometimes sour). The dry-down also has freesia, pleasant but reminding me of anonymous perfumes. It’s a soft yellow floral, atypical for being pure, not cloying, with sharpness. It’s atypical for this collection, elegant and creamy, velvety. It conveys tranquility, neutrality, and elegance, like beige, although for me it’s pale yellow. The fixation is very good, better than others in the collection. The trail is soft-moderate, skin-level, which makes it sensual. It doesn’t have the Chanel mark as marked nor is it the perfect mix of classic and modern. It doesn’t look back, it’s very youthful and unisex. It’s not a bad perfume, but its proposal is mediocre. Its target could find other options.
