  Frollino Lavender is a very unique fragrance; looking at its note pyramid, you immediately sense the peculiarity of its structure. It goes beyond being merely unusual to truly extraordinary. At first, using butter as a base note seems like a curious idea, especially combined with lavender, ironically approaching the gourmand trend (but much better conceived than the criticized Mon Guerlain). Instead of facets, it defines itself as a breakfast: it smells like burnt toast, melting butter on pancakes, honey tea, and a blackberry smoothie, all with the traditional lavender edge. Its texture is smooth yet intoxicating, very cozy (which is counterproductive because its sillage and longevity aren’t extensive) and retains the signature’s typical liquor edge. It’s terribly interesting and natural, though it targets a scarce segment: it’s homely, not sophisticated, and I don’t think it’s suitable for heat or enclosed spaces. But how different and strange it is, wow, it really is!
