I loved all of Dana’s Herbissimos; it was like going to my uncle’s chalet and bathing in them every day. I just bought the juniper and neroli, but I have a special affection for the cedar.

I searched for reviews of the Herbissimo line on this forum and saw it has many followers, so I decided to write mine after trying the citrus, juniper, and green tea scents alternately (the green tea is my favorite and the one I use most). It starts with a very pleasant green and citrus note, and practically stays there. They say it’s a bit like Loewe Pour Homme, but in my opinion, the green tea version is softer. They are simple colognes with a nostalgic, vintage vibe; they smell great but last a breath. Okay, you don’t have to break the bank, that’s a plus. But my conclusion is that for just a bit more, I can find fragrances that satisfy my herbal cravings better, so I’ve learned something and won’t buy them again, not even at those prices.

Like all the Herbissimos except that one bad one, no need for advertising for their perfumes; they have more than enough talent and character. Sublime in every aspect: a natural and simple green tea, the citrus one a wonderful spring delight, the juniper is wintry and elegant and not intrusive at all, the marjoram I haven’t heard yet, and the lavender is simple and wonderful at the same time, smelling of pure nature; I imagine it comes from the fields of Mantua among the ointments prepared by a Fray Lorenzo perfume for Juliet. I love their little green bottles, sober with this vintage and eternal touch at the same time. Plus, they are natural perfumes… BRAVO ❤️❤️❤️

Two days ago I went to a Primor store and felt like trying some cheap fragrances; one of them was the juniper Herbissimo, which reminded me a lot of Eau Chanson, so for those looking for it, check there.

Two days ago I went to a Primor store (in Spain) and decided to try out several cheap fragrances; one of them, which had several different options, was the Herbissimo juniper. It reminded me a lot of Eau Chanson, so for those looking for it, check there 😉

I didn’t know about it; I didn’t live in Spain during the 80s and 90s. I found it by chance in a neighborhood perfumery, browsing the classics section. The aged cardboard box caught my attention, with the name and year painted on the back: 2006. Bought it blind because of the modest price. What a great buy! A soft and pleasant aroma on the skin, a feeling of being elegantly and cleanly perfumed. The citrus opening is delicate with a herbal note that soon lets green tea take the lead. Everything stays within the personal sphere. It doesn’t try to grab attention but strangely does so with a simplicity and good taste that is much appreciated. Obviously, longevity and sillage are moderate, but that’s not a problem since it’s a joy to return to it a few hours later. I’ll regret not having any left when I run out of this one.

It’s gorgeous, uncomplicated, with a dark and humid freshness. Unlike other tea waters that are more citrusy or cheerful, this one is more bitter and somber. I think all Spanish teenagers used it in the nineties. I loved the bottle, with that dark, refreshing green that reveals its contents. The DameDeNoir, I’m not sure if it’s already discontinued; certainly I haven’t seen it in stores for years, but I’ve heard on perfume websites that I’ve seen it recently.

I just found the juniper one inside a tin packaging that I love; pity I only found one.

I just picked up the juniper one in a tin packaging that I absolutely love, but the bad part is I only found a single unit.
