I received it as a prize on Fragantica for commenting. I was so happy I made a fool of myself, especially seeing the nice packaging with its clear bottle and gold cap. I didn’t know it; it’s a 90s Cover Girl with vanilla, amber, and orange blossom. Just then I was returning to aromas from the past; although I’m not a vanilla fan, I loved amber. It’s complex: citrusy at first, then soft, a powdery touch, a light vanilla, and a lasting sweet floral mixed with sensual amber. It doesn’t look like any current one, more like powdery Avon colognes from that era. I love the subtlety of the vanilla, it’s not heavy. The bottle looks like CK Obsession and gives an aquatic feel, but it’s for summer and young women. Today it sounds more nocturnal, though it lacks strength. It’s clean, soft, with personality and very 90s, perhaps outdated for teenagers. Longevity is short to moderate. It’s striking, not intense, like a creamy vanilla ice cream with a sensual touch of amber. I liked it a lot and I’m sure it will ring a bell for someone.
They gave it to me, lucky it was a small bottle because I never really liked it in the bottom of my heart. I was a student with little money, so if someone gifted me perfume, I’d use it even if it was the most basic 🙁 …I would never buy or gift it, it smells very ‘cheap’ at first.
I’ve always been searching for that scent, tried it once and fell in love. It smells classic, with character and beauty, at a price that doesn’t hurt. I want it, just grabbed a cheap one.
