Smells like pure orange with a hint of other citrus, but nothing else. The scent is rich for hot days, but it fades almost immediately after you apply it. What a pity.

  2. Smells like pure orange and other citrus, but nothing else. It doesn’t last even a minute; it fades as soon as you put it on. The scent is rich for hot days, but it’s a shame it doesn’t last.

What a pity it’s discontinued and hard to find here. It’s citrusy and refreshing, bringing back the best memories of my first imported perfumes. Ideal for the office.

Rodrigo Flores-Roux already gave us this citrus-mineral structure in Clinique’s Happy. He later evolved the concept in John Varvatos Artisan, where he fully unleashed the citrus-mineral vibe in Blue and Aqua. All of that shares a soul with this Bold by TH. Although it’s similar to Artisan, here the sea salts are brighter, filtered through a mandarin that blends with citrus, jasmine, and cardamom. The explosion is super energetic and pleasant. It’s an intense cologne with blue illusions, like freshly cut citrus hanging from a branch under the sun, leaving that bitter, vegetal scent. Performance is medium-low, but great value for money. Very versatile, perfect for evening or any commitment. I loved it.

Fresh, light, and pleasant. Don’t expect much projection because it’s very short-lived. The citrus always dominates and makes you feel good. After half an hour, they fade a bit to let in the lavender and some soft flowers that adorn the fragrance beautifully. I got the original 2015 batch and it lasts over 8 hours on skin.

  6. A pleasant fresh fragrance where orange and creamy white flowers dominate. The dry-down is appealing with sophisticated sandalwood and vetiver. It feels very masculine, suitable for multiple uses, with acceptable performance. For its range, it’s more than acceptable. It conveys energy and optimism. Very good.

It’s such a strong citrus bomb that you can’t smell the other notes. It’s just grapefruit, bergamot, and orange. At the end, you feel a flower; for me, it’s neroli. It could easily be unisex. It’s a linear, unpretentious perfume, easy to use, common, and nothing stands out. If you find it at a good price, it’s a good option for daily wear.

Tuesday, April 9, 2019, from Santo Domingo: it smells good, but what’s going on? It’s pure citrus! In the TH Bold by Tommy Hilfiger Men, the note that stands out most is the grapefruit; the citrus is the absolute protagonist. I didn’t love it; it was just another one. It works great for daily wear in summer or extreme heat. It feels sweet and fresh. Scent 7/10, longevity 7/10, sillage 7/10, and projection 8/10.

Tuesday, April 9, 2019, from Santo Domingo. SMELLS GOOD, BUT??? PURE CITRUS! The note that stands out most in TH Bold by Tommy Hilfiger is grapefruit, making citrus the protagonist. It didn’t fully satisfy me; I used it and it was just another one. Suitable for daily wear in summer or extreme heat. You get a sweet freshness thanks to the citrus. This perfume should have been called just Citrus Tommy Hilfiger. Scent 7/10, longevity 7/10, sillage 7/10, projection 8/10.

  12. I really like this perfume; it’s very fresh, perfect for after the gym or hot days. It’s like a cologne de toilette, but more natural and intense. The longevity is decent, although it doesn’t have much sillage, but for the price, you can’t ask for more. If you’re looking for something cool without complications, it’s perfect for you, highly recommended.

  13. TH Bold isn’t trying to revolutionize anything, but it does its job: it’s pleasant and energetic. I agree with Darkbeat and facu22—it’s the perfect cologne post-workout or after the pool, summery, fresh, clean, and fairly linear. The longevity is weak, but that’s not a problem because it doesn’t try to deceive; it’s cheap and meant for a short wear. It’s not original, but as a synthetic citrus, it has its point, feeling invigorating and dynamic. Right out of the bottle, it smells like lime, one of the few citrus notes that doesn’t use xD, and last summer someone even asked if I was wearing Puig Azur xD. The best part of Bold is Nadal. Great, Nadal! 6.5/10

Yesterday my brother-in-law gave me this perfume, and with his permission (hehe), I couldn’t resist trying a bit. The opening is very citrusy, slightly acidic, and even tickles the nose a bit; it gradually mellows to reveal a refreshing floral veil, highlighting jasmine and some lavender, all over a soft woody base. It’s very linear, almost the same throughout except for that intense opening. It feels fresh and sparkling, perfect for summer, though nothing groundbreaking. It reminds me a lot of the ‘Heno de Pravia’ shower gel but more potent and with better quality. Lasts about 5 or 6 hours with a low sillage. If you like this type of fragrance, give it a try, but don’t expect anything revolutionary.

Yesterday my brother-in-law let me try out his gift, with his permission, hehe. At first, the opening is citrusy, slightly acidic, and gives a bit of a nose tickle, but then it softens into a fresh floral veil where jasmine and a touch of lavender stand out over a soft woody base. It’s very linear, almost the same throughout except for the more intense opening; afterwards, it’s effervescent cardamom with flowers and wood. Perfect for summer—fresh and sparkling, though nothing groundbreaking. It’s very similar to the classic ‘Heno de Pravia’ shower gel, but more potent, natural, and higher quality. Lasts about 5 or 6 hours with a low sillage. If you like this style, give it a try, but don’t expect anything revolutionary.

  16. It’s a perfect summer crack for heading straight out of the shower or pool; outdoors it’s very citrusy and linear. It works great for my everyday wear: it doesn’t stand out in a crowd, but it’s pleasant and super wearable, projecting that clean, dynamic guy vibe. A solid choice.

It’s like the expensive version of a body mist. It doesn’t smell bad, but it has nothing special about it; it’s very simple and lacks any novelty.

Sounds like the premium version of a body splash. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s also nothing special; very simple and no surprises.

Rich fragrance but nothing more. It’s like bathing in orange and tangerine. After 8 hours, I can still smell it close to my skin with a noticeable trail. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent; it smells clean and fresh and makes you feel good. I think it lasts about 10 hours on me.

A rich but simple fragrance, like bathing in orange and mandarin. I’ve worn it for 8 hours and can still smell it close to my skin, with a noticeable sillage. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent; it’s a clean, fresh scent that makes you feel good. I estimate a longevity of about 10 hours.

What a curious scent! I tried it in-store before seeing the notes, and it hit me like opening a mandarin or squeezing its juice; then I noticed a white flower, which turned out to be jasmine and neroli. The cardamom adds a soft, powdery touch. I need to wear it more to be sure, but yes, it’s a citrus explosion—not very masculine, more unisex, and very summery.
