The lilac in Purplelips is very prominent and puts me in a great mood, like being hugged by a soft breeze; it’s feminine, elegant, and super romantic for me. It’s warm without being overwhelming, perfect for spring, fall, or hot days. It smells a bit like ‘Le roy soleil’ (Dalí), which is my favorite. The notes last just as long but soften over time instead of evaporating, because the sillage is good. It reminds me of ‘Inspiration’ (Lacoste), but this one wins all around.
The lilac note in Purplelips is very noticeable. It gives me great feelings that match my mood, like a gentle breeze; very feminine, elegant, and romantic. It’s warm but not overpowering. Ideal for spring, fall, or hot days. It has a touch of ‘Le roy soleil’ (Dalí), which I love. The notes are long-lasting; they just soften over time rather than evaporating, thanks to good longevity. In my opinion, it reminds me of ‘Inspiration’ (Lacoste), but this one is much better.
Azuriiita’s review describes it perfectly. I’d just say that for me, it’s more sexy than romantic. Though, thinking about it… why not both?
Azuriiita’s review hits the mark 100% on how I feel. Just that for me, it’s more sexy than romantic. Though, thinking about it… why not both at once?
Stuffy, a bit sweet, and fades in two hours. For daily use, nothing spectacular or attention-grabbing. Just another one of the crowd.
It’s a bit spicy, has a sweet touch, and fades in about two hours. Good for everyday wear. Nothing spectacular, nothing attention-grabbing. Just another one of the crowd.
On my skin, it smells like sweet blackberries with lilacs, but the fruity blackberry note dominates and I don’t like that side, so it’s not for me 🙁
On my skin, it smells like sweet blackberries and lilacs, but the fruity blackberry note really stands out. Since I’m not a fan of fruity scents, this isn’t really my thing.
