Francesca Bianchi is a perfumer known for her unique approach to creating scents that evoke emotions and memories. Born and raised in Italy, Francesca discovered her passion for perfumes at an early age and earned a degree in Art History, specializing in the 20th century. After completing her studies, Francesca worked in the art-book publishing industry and lived in several European cities such as Florence, Berlin, Luxembourg, and Amsterdam. In Amsterdam, Francesca finally decided to pursue her dream of creating her own line of perfumes. Inspired by a book about natural perfumery, Francesca began studying and experimenting with fragrances. Her artistic vision and deep knowledge of the ingredients allowed her to create unique and captivating fragrances. Francesca creates each perfume herself in her laboratory, a process that can take between 6 months and four years or more to complete. Francesca obtains the raw materials for her perfumes from a family-run company based in Grasse, France, which processes raw materials for high perfumery. Once the compound is blended, it is sent to a manufacturing company in Milan, Italy, to complete the production process, including maturation in alcohol, filtering, bottling, and packaging. Francesca’s perfumes are recognized for their ability to evoke memories and emotions in people. Her approach to perfumery is an intellectual process consisting of delving into feelings and imagining architectures capable of awakening them in individuals through a unique balance of fragrant materials. Francesca’s perfumes have gained a cult following among perfume lovers around the world. Her fragrance line includes scents such as The Black Knight, Angel's Dust, Sex and the Sea, and Under My Skin, among others. Francesca continues to push the boundaries of perfumery, and her innovative approach to creating scents has established her as one of the world’s most sought-after perfumers.
