Erwin Creed is a fragrance entrepreneur and co-creation director at the Anglo-French niche perfume house Creed. As the seventh generation of the Creed family and the son of master perfumer Olivier Creed, Erwin has taken on the responsibility of ensuring the success of one of the world’s oldest family businesses.
Creed has been in the fragrance industry since 1760, and its first client was none other than King George III. The scent the king purchased, Royal English Leather, is still sold by the company today. Under the leadership of Erwin and his father, Olivier Creed, the company has continued to thrive, and its marketing masterpiece, Aventus (2010), has achieved enormous commercial success.
Erwin Creed’s passion for his work is evident as he travels around the world in search of new fragrance ingredients. However, he also enjoys taking time off to indulge in high-octane activities such as heli-skiing, skydiving, and car racing. Despite his packed schedule, the young man in his roughly 30s with a boyish face stays calm and composed under pressure, ready to take the family business to even higher levels.
