David Seth Moltz is a unique, unconventional perfumer who breaks free from the traditional heritage of European perfumery. With musical training and no formal training in perfumery, David is a true pioneer in the industry. Along with his wife, Kavi Durga, he co-founded the house D.S. & Durga in 2008, based in Brooklyn, creating scents that tell stories of unusual landscapes and forgotten tales.

His perfumes are evidence of his unorthodox approach, capturing the essence of specific moments in time and space. For example, his fragrance El Cosmico, created for a caravan camp and tipis in the remote high desert of West Texas, perfectly captures the spirit of the area.
