Clement Gavarry

Clement Gavarry is a highly qualified and respected perfumer with a passion for creating innovative and captivating fragrances. Born in Paris, he inherited the family legacy in perfumery as the fourth generation to work on the creation of fragrances. His father, the renowned perfumer Max Gavarry, introduced him to the world of fragrances through nature, immersing him in the aromas of the forest and the sea. Clement pursued his passion for perfumery by obtaining a Master’s and a Diploma in Organic Chemistry at ISIPCA in Versailles, France. He then moved to New York at twenty years old, which he describes as “a great experiment,” with a constant sense of novelty and energy that he loves. Throughout his career, Clement has worked with some of the most prestigious perfume houses in the world, including Firmenich and IFF. He has also collaborated with well-known brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Vera Wang, Roberto Cavalli, and Sarah Jessica Parker, to name a few. Clement’s approach to perfumery is meticulous and detail-oriented, and he takes the time necessary to truly understand his formulas before creating the perfect balance. He believes that a fragrance should be an adventure that ignites the senses and transports people to a different place or time. Clement Gavarry’s passion for his craft, combined with his talent and experience, has made him one of the most sought-after perfumers in the industry today.
