  At first, it startled me when I opened it and I almost threw it away, but I learned that perfumes, especially Arabic ones, need time to reveal themselves properly in both cold and heat. I had it to sell, tried it in summer, and it overwhelmed me—I’m not sure if it was the salt or the sandalwood; I prefer fresh, light scents. Now in winter, it’s tamed; the floral and sweet notes blend with the wood in a creamy, clean, and elegant way. It’s for an adult woman, formal and feminine, perfect for outings or cool nights, but not for summer unless you’re careful with application. It lasts hours on clothes, even after washing, though on skin it depends on the person. I’m not sure if it’s a dupe for Olympia, but if you’re looking for that line, it won’t disappoint. I love Zimaya; its ingredients, longevity, and bottles are of fine quality.
