I wouldn’t wear it, but out of everything I’ve tried from this house, it’s the most ‘original’. Conceptually, it fits into the Antiheroes group from Etat Libre d’Orange, but it’s much more diverse, complex, and delicate. It keeps that youthful spirit I detected in all the house’s fragrances. There’s also the house signature: that slightly powdery aroma. One thing’s for sure: every fragrance from this house I’ve tried feels more feminine than masculine or unisex, based on my own criteria.

  • It starts with a strong leather note mixed with tuberose and some nutmeg; I’d describe the scent as animalic, a bit creamy, and spicy. As time passes, the leather recedes and the tuberose gains intensity, becoming even creamier and floral. The musk is also noticeable in the background, giving it a slightly dirty touch. The dry-down is my favorite part, since the heavy opening leather fades and you can enjoy the tuberose a bit more, while still maintaining that animalic feel. The perfume is intense and deep, so I see it as better suited for cold weather and night outs. Although unisex, it’s a tuberose that I find quite more masculine than feminine, honestly, due to its strong animalic sensation. The sample I was able to try performed well with good longevity and noticeable projection, but I have to say I’ve read some reviews indicating that the current reformulation barely has longevity or projection, so be careful with that. It seems like an original and well-made perfume with ingredients that don’t smell too synthetic to my nose, but it’s not a perfume I’d buy myself; however, I do recommend that anyone who can, give it a sniff.

  • It kicks off strong with leather, tuberose, and a hint of nutmeg; I’d describe it as animalic, creamy, and spicy. Over time, the leather fades and the tuberose rises, becoming creamier and more floral. The base musk gives it a dirty edge. What I like most is the dry-down, when the heavy leather recedes and you can really enjoy the tuberose while keeping that animalic vibe. It’s intense and deep, perfect for cold weather and night outs. Although unisex, the animalic touch makes it feel more masculine than feminine to me. The sample performed well with good longevity and projection, but I’ve read reviews saying the latest reformulation barely lasts or projects, so be careful. It feels original and well-made with ingredients that don’t smell synthetic, but it’s not for me; I do recommend giving it a sniff at least.

  • Perhaps the most masculine scent from the house in terms of both look and smell. It leaves a great effect on the skin, highlighting the leather, neroli, nutmeg, and vetiver (similar to Fat Electrician). Smells like a delicacy, something creamy, and all the notes are noticeable, though less so than the main ones. The trail is top-notch and the projection is regular. I’d wear this for any occasion or season if applied correctly. Longevity: 8/10 Versatility: 8/10 Projection: 7.5/10 Sillage: 9/10 Fixation: 9/10 Quality: 9/10 Smell: 9/10 TOTAL: 9.5/10
