My first fragrance on Frag, I picked it up in California for a steal. The moment I tried it, I bought several bottles; the quality surpasses Hermes, and if you apply it a bit more liberally (6-8 sprays), the trail is brutal. It’s a classic for adults, semi-formal to formal, but the tonka bean modernizes it and gives it that special touch. Although I’m sure it exists (I don’t think A/S created anything new), I haven’t encountered it before.
I’ve been wearing it for two days now and I’m starting to notice the vetiver, grapefruit, citrus, and cardamomo. The grapefruit and cardamomo kick things off, then the vetiver comes in with a hint of citrus, and as it dries down, it settles into vetiver, patchouli, and a sweet touch of tonka bean. It doesn’t have a huge trail or projection, but it smells amazing. This is my take; everyone can have different tastes and perceptions, but I just know I love it.
A soft, comforting citrusy vetiver. I like it.
