This new Perry Ellis smells good but is very generic. I like the scent, though it’s a very well-known style; people will definitely kill it. It follows an aromatic and clean path with lots of lavender and geranium, then moves to woody notes with sandalwood, amber, and tonka. I’ve already smelled this in Ferragamo Blue, Tous Man Intense, and Abercrombie First Instinct Blue, so it has nothing new. On the plus side, it’s easy to like and girls compliment it. If you’re a collector, it won’t say much to you, but if you’re looking for something pleasant without pretensions, it’s a good option. Usable in any season. In my test, it lasted 10 hours with low projection the whole time.
I don’t like it… Synthetic. Fresh and cheap but synthetic. Green, woody, and bitter nuances, very long-lasting and persistent. If you’re looking for something cheap with great longevity and projection, this is the best for you… mmm, but it’s nothing natural. Don’t expect a masterpiece or an improvement. I bought it blind and gifted it blind.
I don’t like it… It’s synthetic, fresh, and affordable, but too synthetic. It has green, woody, and bitter notes. It’s very long-lasting and persistent. If you’re looking for something cheap with great longevity and projection, this is the best, but it’s not natural. Don’t expect a masterpiece or a great evolution. I bought it blind and gifted it blind.
The dry down of this fragrance is so rich. You can feel the amber, very youthful, like sunscreen or body lotion. Longevity has already passed 7 hours. I’ll wait for the hot days to see if it gains complexity, but I’m already hooked. Ugh, I applied it again. It smells amazing, like those familiar aromatic fragrances, but with a sweet base that sets it apart from the rest.
Kills it, smells clean and aromatic, very herbal. Reminds me of others in the same line, like Tous Man Intense or Captain EPD. After a few hours, the drydown is brutal, smells like sunscreen. The amber with rosemary gives it a rich touch. For the price and bottle design, it’s great.
I don’t know Fierce or Legend. Perry Ellis smells friendly and elegant, nothing intrusive. Lavanda stands out and smells like freshly ironed clothes with a hint of cleanliness. It’s a bit powdery, in my opinion it delivers on longevity and stays on clothes for several days. In terms of price-to-quality, it’s a good example that cost doesn’t mean it’s bad because it’s cheap; in fact, it’s great. Not for heat, it does well in controlled climates like offices. Not meant to grab attention, but it’s noticeable at close range and would surely succeed on romantic dates. Linear drydown, warm and ambered. I don’t detect bergamot. A 9/10 all around. Excellent!
I don’t know Fierce or Legend. Perry Ellis smells friendly and elegant, nothing intrusive. The lavender stands out and reminds me of freshly ironed clothes with detergent. It’s a bit powdery, hits the mark on longevity, and lingers on clothes for days. It’s a prime example that cheap doesn’t mean bad; it’s fantastic. Not for hot weather, but great for controlled climates like offices. It doesn’t try to grab attention, but it’s noticeable at a short distance and will definitely work for romantic dates. Dry down is warm, linear, and ambered. I don’t detect bergamot. A 9/10. Excellent.
I bought it blind for $15 and absolutely loved it. On my skin, it smells similar to Fierce, lasts 6 to 7 hours, and I’ve gotten plenty of compliments. For the price, scent, and longevity, it was an excellent purchase.
PERRY ELLIS: A reliable workhorse for smelling great in any situation. It’s not innovative or attention-grabbing, just clean and versatile. Most people will like it; perfect for the office, school, or dates. It sits in the same category as Legend, Fierce, or Tous Intense. It might feel a bit synthetic, but it’s pleasant and gives off a masculine, sophisticated vibe without breaking the bank. Best for ages 25 to 60. Scent: 8.0, Projection: 2 hours, Longevity: 6 hours. Recommended.
PERRY ELLIS: This scent is a workhorse for smelling good anywhere. It’s not innovative or attention-grabbing. It’s simply neat, versatile, and the majority will kill it. Ideal for the office, school, or even a date. From the same range as Mont Blanc Legend, Fierce by Abercrombie, or Tous Intense. It feels synthetic but is pleasant and gives a neat, masculine, and sophisticated image without breaking the bank. Range for ages 25 to 60. It’s generic but current and 100% up-to-date. Scent: 8.0. Projection: 2 hours (moderate). Longevity: 6 hours. Recommended.
I bought it out of curiosity because they said it was similar to Fierce and Legend, my favorites. Nothing could be further from the truth. The scent isn’t bad and it lasts well, but I would have saved money and bought the original for better quality. You can smell lavender, bergamot, and potent sandalwood, but it lacks authenticity. I give it 6/10.
I just tried it today and I can’t believe it. I sprayed it ten times thinking it was an EDT without presence, but in a closed store, it stands out for its price. It’s a fragrance you must have. On my skin, it smells herbal with a citrus touch, not excessive, it’s beast mode. I think when I finish this bottle, I’ll repurchase for any occasion: movies, dates… you just like it. I’ve worn it for three hours and it’s still going. As they say around here, it’s a workhorse.
Another undervalued fragrance for its price. It’s not innovative, but it smells clean, fresh, and neat. It lasts longer than expected—up to 12 hours in my case. It’s the perfect workhorse for the office or going out without spending a fortune. It’s no longer missing from my wardrobe, even though it’s getting harder to find.
I tried this today and was speechless. I sprayed it ten times thinking it wouldn’t have any presence, but in a closed store, it’s noticeable from far away. For the price, it’s a must-have. On my skin, it smells herbal with a citrus touch; it’s beast mode. I’ve worn it for three hours and it’s still there. It’s a workhorse for the movies or dates.
Solid and long-lasting. It’s synthetic, but that’s obvious given the low price. Just two or three sprays on the neck and I can smell it all day. Citrus and geranium, very similar to Montblanc Legend but with better performance. I recommend it for everyday wear and would buy it again.
Smells like a 90s barbershop—carefree and commanding. It starts synthetic but sweetens up to remind you of real shaving cream, nothing like bug spray. Evokes an independent man in a Parisian apartment. Perfect for fresh days, not too hot or cold.
