Descripción

Tindrer by Baruti is an olfactory fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2016, this composition was created by perfumer Spyros Drosopoulos. In its opening, the fragrance unfolds green notes, galbanum, and citron, accompanied by lemon balm and sweet verbena. The heart of the composition is sustained by an elegant violet, while the base reveals a blend of oakmoss, heliotrope, and white musk.

This fragrance is incredible; it has won me over. It smells like a humid summer forest, very green and fresh. It has an enormous trail that keeps projecting. It’s perfect for spring/summer and will surely get you lots of compliments for being so original and attractive. Fragrance: 10/10, projection: 20/10, and longevity: 20/10 (plus two showers).

Imagine a potted violet, watered at night and smelled half an hour later: that’s Tindret. It smells of violet, stem, and moisture. Along with Berlin im Winter, these are the only ones from this house I’ve liked.

Imagine a potted violet, watered at night, and smelled half an hour later: that’s Tindret. It smells like violet, stem, and dampness. Along with Berlin im Winter, these are the only ones from this house I actually liked.

  • It smells like Christmas pine, like walking into a store in December. Within minutes, the pine fades and the violet rises; it’s very changeable, sometimes one dominates and sometimes they blend into an earthy, damp aroma. I bought it as a decant, so I don’t know the batch. Unlike others, the projection is low: by an hour it’s already on the skin. It lasted 6 hours and then vanished. For cool climates, semi-formal occasions, and people over 30. Given its poor performance and mediocre scent, it’s niche only because of the price. In my opinion, it shouldn’t cost more than a dollar per ml; in 30 ml, it should be around $30–$40. Be careful buying blind—it can disappoint.

  • On my skin, it’s violet, freshly cut grass, and a clean earthy base. It evokes something natural and green, making it the best and most wearable option from Baruti. It starts slightly sweet with a lemon zest note, though that fades quickly, leaving a fairly linear development. Ideal for hot weather if you’re looking for something evocative; it vibrates just like Narciso Rodriguez’s Bleu Noir with that wet, green sensation. I like it, it lasts well, and it’s unisex thanks to its artistry. Try it with Chai. Rating: 7.5/10. Tested on Discovery Set.
