On my skin, it’s violet, freshly cut grass, and a clean earthy base. It evokes something natural and green, making it the best and most wearable option from Baruti. It starts a bit sweet with a cedar note, though that fades quickly, leaving a fairly linear development. Ideal for heat if you’re looking for something evocative; it vibrates just like Narciso Rodriguez’s Bleu Noir in that green, wet sensation. I like it, it lasts well, and it’s unisex thanks to its artistry. Try it with Chai. Note: 7.5/10. Tested on Discovery Set.

It smells like Christmas pine, like walking into a store in December. Within minutes, the pine fades and violet rises; it’s very changeable, sometimes one dominates, other times they blend into an earthy, damp scent. I bought a decant, so I don’t know the batch. Unlike others, the trail is low: by an hour it’s just on the skin. It lasted 6 hours and then vanished. Best for cool climates, semi-formal occasions, and people over 30. Given its poor performance and mediocre scent, it’s niche only because of the price. In my opinion, it shouldn’t cost more than a dollar per ml; a 30 ml bottle should run around $30-$40. Be careful buying blind, it can disappoint.
