The Blend Cardamom by O Boticário is a woody-spicy fragrance for men. Launched in 2021, this olfactory composition was created by perfumer Nathalie Lorson. In its opening, the scent unfolds with cardamom, black pepper, ginger, and bergamot; the heart reveals a blend of English pepper, sage, violet leaves, labdanum, curry, and Bengal pepper; while the base settles on cedar, amberwood, patchouli, and moss.

This is a gem, a masterpiece of perfumery, period. No need to say more, just try it.
A great option for something versatile, with plenty of cardamom throughout the entire development, pepper, woods, and a slightly sweet touch, perhaps amber. I also detect some tobacco that isn’t listed. It’s perfect for work, day or night, in formal settings, suitable for almost all climates except extreme cold or heat. I wouldn’t use it for sports; it’s elegant and has personality. Excellent price.
I own all three from The Blend and absolutely love them: they’re masculine, seductive, and versatile, yet each has its own unique personality. This Cardamom has a special charm; if I had to keep just one, it would be this one. While I personally prefer the classic slightly more, this covers more ground and feels more complete. These fragrances are very little-known outside Brazil, but if they carried Parfums de Marly or Creed labels, they’d be topping every reviewer’s list. I feel the same way about other O Boticário scents like Zaad Santal or Malbec Club Intenso. I can only recommend this brand, and especially this Cardamom. One key detail: they improve dramatically with oxidation. If you feel it’s missing something at first, store it in a cool place for three or four months, and you’ll see an exponential evolution.
