  Apple sandalwood patchouli a touch of tonka bean and thyme; I don’t notice the rest of the notes. It smells good but nothing innovative like other bolder scents from the house that generate hype just for resembling famous fragrances. It’s average. In fact Tartan Calling Me reminds me of a known perfume but I’m not sure which one—it’s somewhere in between: at first it smells like one then it changes; sometimes I thought it carried Invictus (eww) but no it evolves into something better quickly relief; then I thought it was Friday Edition but no it’s less sweet at times I thought it was Sauvage but nope. For sure it’s not super fresh though it doesn’t weigh as much as Bravo Monsieur or Friday Edition. Moderate sillage and it lasts all day on clothes. A good everyday scent and if you catch it on sale it’s a steal because you’ll smell great and get compliments for wearing a familiar aroma. In the dry down it’s more patchouli but very good if you like it. For cold weather but I’m not sure about heat. I wore it to the gym and it held up like a champ blasting away with good scent.
