Smells exactly like Ted Lapidus Altamir but without the heavy hazelnut note. It’s a perfume that smells exactly like its price tag—nothing more. Sweet and pleasant, it doesn’t draw too much attention. I don’t see anyone over 30 wearing it.

I bought it without even smelling it, just for the $9 price, and gifted it to my boyfriend. I was blown away by its evolution: starts very citrusy, turns sweet, and ends with an exquisite musky base. I love it so much I almost want to eat my boyfriend.

Smells like Ted Lapidus’s Altamir but not as vanilla-heavy. It’s a perfume that smells exactly what it costs, don’t expect more. Sweet, pleasant, doesn’t stand out, I don’t see anyone over 30 wearing this.

Absolutely spectacular for the price! The longevity is decent. I paid $15, what more could you ask for? It’s very similar to Jo Milano’s Wildcard. It’s highly versatile; I’d have no problem wearing it in winter as well as summer.

  6. I bought this at the Dolphin Mall in Miami in 2019 while looking for Michael Kors Michael. At a stall in the mall, I found this Sun Java and they offered it to me. I’d never heard of it. As a perfume fanatic, I bought it and loved that it smelled like watermelon. I wore it, got compliments, and felt energized. A lovely memory, and I’ll be buying it again.

  7. I bought this based on these reviews, not a blind buy. I find it very feminine, not citrusy or fresh at all, more sweet to the point of being cloying. It reminds me of Tacón de Mujer. I definitely didn’t like it, and now it lasts forever.

  8. Hello, I’m from Chile. I bought it on the app for $15 (super cheap), blind, just based on the reviews on this page. At first, I didn’t like it much, but after testing its evolution, I DEFINITELY LOVED IT. Great longevity, about 6 hours. The trail extends beyond arm’s length for about 2 hours, then fades a bit but is still noticeable; in total, I’d say around 4 hours. What I perceive most is the vanilla, bergamot, and that powdery scent that sticks to the skin. I received 3 compliments in two days. A perfume for people aged 35 to 60.

Pleasant surprise with this perfume, it smells great and I’ve received plenty of compliments. It has a fresh citrus opening, then becomes slightly sweeter (vanilla/fruity) and powdery. It has excellent longevity, over 8 hours on my skin. It’s very versatile, perfect for any time of day or weather. What more can I say, it’s a fantastic fragrance considering the quality-to-price ratio. It’s very cheap and smells luxurious.

A blind buy and I have no regrets. Fresh, very fresh. The notes of orange and watermelon are very clear, with a very subtle sandalwood. I loved it, I recommend it. For its value, it’s excellent.

What an AMAZING fragrance by Franck Olivier! Incredible price-to-quality ratio; it’s economical. Very versatile, for men from 20 to 70 years old. I really like the scent it leaves in the air. I seriously invite you to go to a perfumery and try this Sun Java by Franck Olivier Paris. It’s rare not to like it, but you’ll have to admit it SMELLS GREAT. Highly recommended! Best regards.

Suddenly I found Franck Olivier at a store offering two at a sale price, and I didn’t hesitate for a second to grab the White & Black for Men. Both are exquisite: the White is floral, herbal, and fresh, while the Black is more intense, sensual, and aromatic. Unfortunately, the White only lasted three hours, whereas the Black still lingers on my skin after six. For how economical they are, they’re worth the performance; totally recommended.

  16. Smells great; the citrus opening isn’t aggressive, it feels more like watermelon cream or powder. A friendly fragrance that won’t let you down for the price.
