This perfume pleasantly surprised me. Looking at the notes, one might think it would be sharp with the citrus, apple, and spices, but nothing could be further from the truth. It starts with a revitalizing mix of apple and citrus that then settles as the spices enter; cardamomo stands out, though pepper and nutmeg are there too. After the apple blends with the spices, sandalwood appears with a very light vanilla base. It’s from here that the perfume rounds out and wraps you in a cozy bubble. I’m writing this after 5 hours, and I’m in that phase where, at times, you can’t smell it, but something happened I call ‘the bubble law’: if I don’t move, I can’t smell it, but if I do move, I can. I left the room and came back 10 minutes later; upon opening the door, I noticed the room still held Solstis’s scent. Really surprised, because other perfumes from this brand I’ve tried haven’t been special (except Parisian Oud, which might have been reformulated) and had disappointing performance. From my perspective, it’s unisex, perfect for spring or summer, day and night, and very pleasant. As for longevity, trail, and projection, they’re good for now; we’ll see how it continues. A pleasant surprise for summer.

It smells exactly like the mix right after you’ve put on sunscreen and taken a couple of dips in the sea; your skin smells like that salty, wet blend but still with sunscreen. My only hesitation is its longevity or performance for the price… I have serious doubts about buying it, so I’ll keep testing it. It seems adorable for summer.
