About Sol Negro
Sol Negro: Dark Green Woods by Alejandro Acosta
Sol Negro by Alejandro Acosta is a fragrance for men and women centered on vetiver in two forms: Java vetiver oil and Haitian vetiver.
It reads as woody and green, with aromatic, amber, balsamic and fresh-spicy sides, plus a musky, citrusy, ozonic and rosy undertone.
The opening pairs both vetivers with galbanum, green mandarin, ginger and mint. The effect is crisp and leafy, bright with citrus and cooled by mint with a gingery lift.
Incense, elemi, Ho wood and labdanum add resin and a whisper of smoke. They bring amber warmth while keeping the green snap intact.
The heart moves to patchouli and Texas cedar with violet leaves, black tea and Bulgarian rose. Earthy dryness meets powdery violet, dark brewed tea and Damask rose, which softens the woods without sweetening them.
Musk alone forms the base, cleaning up the texture and tying the contrasts together. What remains is a green-woody trail shifting between citrus light and balsamic shade.
For anyone who likes green-woody unisex scents with bold vetiver, black tea, an unsweet rose and a sheer musk finish.
Sol Negro stays focused: leafy freshness, soft resins and dry timber, eased by rose and musk. A solid pick for fans of earthy, aromatic profiles.
