About Tanit
Tanit Puts Lush White Flowers on Raw Ground
Tanit by Alejandro Acosta is a shared fragrance built around white flowers. It opens with white flowers, tuberose, sambac jasmine and jasmine, bright yet thick and creamy.
The middle pairs orris root and cedar with white pepper, clary sage and caraway, plus earthy and mineral touches. Underneath sit myrrh, palo santo, storax, benzoin, opoponax, salt and animal notes for a warm balsamic close.
Up top it is all texture. Tuberose brings a rich, almost buttery fullness, while sambac jasmine and jasmine lift it with a cleaner, slightly green freshness.
Orris root soon turns the florals powdery. That soft matte effect keeps the bouquet from feeling heavy, and cedar adds a dry woody frame.
White pepper, clary sage and caraway bring an aromatic, cool-spiced current. There is a herbal lift in there that keeps the white florals crisp rather than sweet.
Earthy and mineral notes give the heart its edge. Think dry soil and cool stone against petal warmth, a contrast that feels modern and grounded.
The drydown leans resinous. Myrrh, storax, benzoin and opoponax form an amber-balsamic base, palo santo adds dry wood, and salt plus animal notes leave a warm, skin-like, lightly rugged trail.
Made for fans of bold white florals who like powder, dry woods, resins and a salty animalic undertow.
Tanit moves from full floral bloom to earth and stone, then settles into salted resins. Striking, tactile, and easy to wear for those who like florals with grit.
