About Sillage Océanique
Sillage Océanique: An Oceanic Scent with a Luminous Trail
Wayne & Co introduced Sillage Océanique in 2024 as a fragrance for men and women who want more than a simple fresh scent. The name points to a sea-inspired trail, and the composition delivers that in an unexpectedly layered way.
Early wearers have rated it 4.75 out of 5 across twelve ratings, which is a strong start for a new release.
The perfume’s dominant accords are citrus, fresh spicy, and aromatic, with a woody and musky base. Wayne & Co balances the brightness of citrus with warmer, deeper materials, creating a scent that feels airy yet grounded.
At the top, yuzu, bergamot, citron, and bitter orange form a bright, almost effervescent opening. It’s a crisp start that immediately calls to mind ocean air and sunlit skin.
The heart blends ginger, marine notes, and pepper. This is where the fragrance gains its character: the pepper adds a subtle kick, while the marine notes keep things watery and fresh.
The base settles on musk, vetiver, woody notes, and sea salt. The musk gives it a smooth finish, vetiver adds an earthy edge, and the salt extends that salty breeze feel throughout the wear.
This is a great option for anyone who enjoys unisex fragrances that are fresh but not generic. It works especially well in mild or warm weather, though the spicy heart makes it interesting in cooler months too.
Anyone who loves unisex citrus or aquatic fragrances with a modern, spicy edge.
Sillage Océanique is a well-crafted fragrance that lives up to its name. It’s fresh, distinctive, and easy to wear, making it a solid addition to any collection focused on modern aquatic scents.

I discovered the brand about a year ago thanks to this fragrance. Excellent quality and a fresh scent, but the kind with a touch of originality that makes a difference. In my opinion, it can be worn all year round (it was my signature fragrance in 2025), for day and night, on any occasion. At the opening you notice the citrus, spicy and marine notes; it loses intensity during the first hour and has a final longevity of around 5 to 6 hours. Totally recommended, for excellent quality and a super affordable price. It has an elegant masculine profile, so I would recommend it for 25 and up.
It was a blind buy, based on a review I saw from an Argentine guy with the username huelepetacular. I think it’s part of Argentina’s niche perfumery. The scent drove me crazy from the first spray. To my nose, it’s a spicy citrus opening, with something fizzy or effervescent about it, a marine base, and some very pleasant wood. The olfactory experience is a sparkling marine citrus, very much in an Italian style. It’s a serious or elegant scent; once someone made me perceive a niche Italian fragrance, and I see a strong resemblance, but it’s not the same. I wore it quite a lot last summer; I finished almost half the bottle. It was very pleasant to wear. I used it a lot for going to work, but also for walks, getting an ice cream, or going out with friends for a drink. On hot nights it also works, and works well. Masculine profile. Moderate longevity: on my skin it lasts around 6 hours, projects moderately for about an hour and a half, then with movement you sometimes get wafts. Good price for the quality of perfume it gives you. Approximately 40 dollars per 100ml.
