Seductive Cedrat by Les Liquides Imaginaires is a creation from the citrus gourmand olfactive family, designed for men and women. This new fragrance, launched in 2025, was conceived by nose Andrea Montanari. Its olfactive pyramid unfolds with top notes of lemon, sour lime, yuzu, green mandarin, and pink pepper; a heart composed of milk, sesame, green notes, and jasmine; and a sweet, woody base that combines vanilla, sandalwood, amber, musk, and cedar.

It’s hard to find a citrus fragrance that truly moves you; most are pleasant and fresh, but that’s about it. Seductive Cédrat is different, special from the very first second. It has that luminous joy, like tasting a freshly made lemon tart, with the perfect balance between acidity and sweetness, yet it also has body and intention, far beyond the typical refreshing citrus scent. It’s definitely my favorite from the ‘Cedrat Club’ subcollection, which also includes Cedrat Tonic and Buddha Blend. The opening is pure vitality: yuzu, green mandarin, and lemon, with that natural texture that only real citrus fruits have, not the lab-made kind. No coincidence: they’re made with Orpur® ingredients, which are, I’d say, the crème de la crème of raw materials. And you can tell, believe me. Then everything changes. A creamy, very soft heart arrives, with jasmine and an almost milky note that envelops without being cloying. Some might think of coconut, it’s not that, but I get the association. And suddenly, toasted sesame. What a discovery. It has a warm, salty, addictive touch. Like someone added an unexpected twist to a delicate dessert and it worked perfectly. The base is subtle yet enveloping, with vanilla, amber, sandalwood, and musk, all very well balanced, without falling into heaviness. Yes, maybe it doesn’t project much at first, but that doesn’t mean it disappears; it changes shape and clings to the skin, almost like a second texture, with a surprising density. It can easily last eight hours, but that’s nothing compared to the fireworks of the opening. It’s still a scent that projects quality, something you recognize as another ‘thing’—there, I definitely see the influence of Liquides Imaginaires. The most mind-blowing part is that Andrea Montanari created it. Yes, young, yes, new generation, but with a nose and precision that are intimidating. Where do you come from, Andrea? I’ll keep your name. Nothing in this fragrance sounds experimental; everything is exactly where it should be. For me, Seductive Cédrat is one of the best citrus gourmands out there right now, the best? Yes, yes, yes, it’s the best. If you like perfumes that smell real, with hyper-realistic notes, well-crafted, and that balance between indulgent and sophisticated, give it a try… you’ll be impossible to resist.
