  • It’s a rich, warm, and fresh scent all at once. I like the spicy touch, which is curious because I don’t usually wear them, but it’s well-balanced. It smells best when it dries down. I notice a resemblance to Armani Code Profumo, perhaps due to the spices. On the downside, it’s less long-lasting than I thought, with moderate-to-low sillage, which disappointed me a bit. Still, at €18 for 100ml, it’s a good option for daily wear. My final rating is 7.5.

  • It’s a rich, warm, and fresh scent all at once. I love the spicy note, which is unusual for me since I don’t usually wear very spicy fragrances, but it’s well-balanced here. The best part is when it dries down; that’s when it suits me the best. I detect a certain resemblance to Armani Code Profumo, perhaps due to that spicy note, I’m not sure. On the downside, it seemed less long-lasting than I expected; its trail is moderate, almost low, and it disappointed me a bit. Still, it’s worth it for everyday wear at €18 for 100ml. My final rating, considering everything, is 7.5.

  • I wanted to try Gods Night because the Gucci II is hard to find and expensive. As soon as I sprayed it, I thought it was the same liquid. The notes don’t add up for me: the cardamomo seems toasted and gives it that spicy touch. There are citrus notes, but I don’t know which ones. There’s some woodiness, but it’s not vetiver. Clearly, there’s a lot of undeclared tea. The difference is a sour fruity touch when it dries down, like an unripe fig. I like the scent, but the projection is poor and it lasts only three and a half hours. If it weren’t for that performance, I’d buy it; it’s a warm, green, beautiful spice blend. What a pity.

  • It was 2006 and I loved the Gucci I and II. I bought the first one and then only managed to get a sample of the second. When I found out they were discontinued, I was devastated. I found the Gucci I in Bentley For Men Absolute. Upon learning that Gods Night reflected the Gucci II, I searched for it and found it for €10 for 100ml, an incredible deal. As soon as I sprayed it, I thought: it’s Gucci II! What a rush. Now I just hope to test its longevity; the scent is great, sweet but not intrusive, very pleasant.

  • Hi Adry_slim. Thanks, I didn’t know about that website and searched for it in vain. It’s cheap and much better than where you bought yours. I’m eyeing the Hanae Mori, though after reading Jerry Drake’s review, I’m scared of regretting it; he knows his stuff, and sometimes we perceive notes differently. The regular Nikos also doesn’t last long, but I grabbed two bottles at €9.50 each, so it made up for it. I’ll check out the website.

  • Hi @arkay, I’m from Spain and found it on Amazon for €10.40. Now it’s up to €70 from the same seller, and it doesn’t even appear on the Nikos website anymore; I think they’ve discontinued it. I’ve read that the Hanae Mori HIM is very similar.

  • Hi Adry_slim. Are you from Spain? Where did you buy it? A long time ago I searched for it based on the review saying it’s similar to Gucci II, but I couldn’t find it. I have the Gucci II in a 20ml bottle saved away like gold.

I used to wear this years ago because people said it was the Gucci II Pour Homme. The truth is, it’s light years away from that elegance. I bought it and gave it to a friend within two weeks. It smells of spices and wood, but it’s artificial and over-the-top. The cardamomo with a lot of sugar dominates for two hours and then it turns flat. It doesn’t stand out anywhere, and for €10 there are better options at Avon. Sad performance and zero longevity. If you’re looking for an elixir, this isn’t for you.

  • It was 2006 and Gucci had two fragrances I loved: Gucci I and Gucci II. I bought the first one and thought about the other, but for one reason or another, I only ended up with a sample. When I found out both were discontinued, I was devastated. I found Gucci I in Bentley for Men Absolute, and since I read that Gods Night reflected Gucci II, I searched for it and found 100ml for 10 euros. Incredible buy! The first time I sprayed it, ufff, yes, it’s Gucci II! What a rush that gave me. Now I just need to check its longevity; the scent is great, sweet but not intrusive, not heavy, and very pleasant…

  • I last used this fragrance a long time ago, drawn in by comments claiming Nikos was modeled after Gucci II Pour Homme. Honestly, it falls far short of its noble nature and image. I bought it and gifted it to a neighborhood friend after just two weeks. It’s lightly spiced and woody, but nothing special; it feels artificial and overly hyped. For about two hours, an overly thickened, sugary cardamom dominates without any real development, then it turns flat and boring. It’s a decently priced fragrance with few pretensions, sure. But it won’t let you stand out at a pub (when nightlife was alive) at night or in the office, and for the price-to-performance ratio, it shouldn’t cost more than 10 euros. There are much better options from Avon. The performance is lamentable and longevity could have been better; in my opinion, it’s absolutely dispensable. But if you just read this and still think it’s an elixir, go ahead.

Hi @arkay, I’ve been wearing this since 8 AM and it’s still going strong at 4 PM. It’s a treasure at €10, projects without being annoying, and lasts for hours. I love it so much I’ve already bought three bottles, even though the official notes don’t quite match what it smells like to me.
