I bought this perfume today, and honestly, I wasn’t even looking for it, but I stopped to smell it. The opening didn’t impress me at first… but over time, it started to captivate me. It’s slightly strong at first, bitter, woody, not very floral, and masculine. However, I like it that way: different, intense, and citrusy all at once. I kept it and give it a 9, because the absolute 10 belongs to my eternal Calandre by Paco Rabanne; that will always be my number one. Highly recommended, 100% Charlotte Tilbury.
I picked this up on a whim, and at first, it didn’t make an impression on me, but then it hooked me. The opening is strong, bitter, and woody, with a floral and masculine touch that I love because it’s both intense and citrusy. I kept it and give it a 9, because the absolute 10 belongs to my eternal Calandre by Paco Rabanne, which will always be my king. Highly recommended, 100% Charlotte Tilbury.
What a shame that this masterpiece, Scent of a Dream by Charlotte Tilbury, has been discontinued. It’s one of my most sensational perfumes: it lasts over eight hours, and its trail is so generous that people constantly ask what I’m wearing. If you have even a bit of perfume knowledge, you’ll realize it’s a quality gem, in the same league as the classics that elevated the art form decades ago. It’s a pity that, being a younger brand, the public didn’t grasp its beauty and dismissed it as ‘for older ladies,’ leading the house to pull it. Today it’s impossible to find unless they bring it back. I really hope they do!

After a while, you realize you have a great high-quality classic, on par with the best creations from decades ago. It’s a pity that the younger public didn’t understand its beauty and saw it as a perfume for ‘older ladies,’ so the brand decided to discontinue it due to low sales. Today it’s impossible to find unless they get a resurgence and bring it back. I really hope they do!
