  🎶 I’m gonna swing… from the chandelier… 🎶 Roja Parfums celebrates 15 years of its boutique on the 6th floor of Harrods with this launch. A perfumery temple packed with exclusives (LuckyScent is another, but with a different luxury focus). The purple bottle with gold details pays homage to the crystal chandeliers of the venue. 🎶 One, two, three… drink 🎶 ➡️ RDHP 15th Anniversary: starts with juicy citrus and joins the party with a fruity note (peach), slightly powdery (lily root). Everything is very soft and refined. Even before drying, it already has a spot in my niche drawer. As it dries, the citrus fades and reveals the base: tonka, vanilla, synthetic musk, synthetic civet, ginger, ladanum, balsam, and lily root. To put it simply, it’s a blend between ‘Chypre Extraordinaire’ (an unpowdered Diaghilev, less potent and more restrained, fresh) and ‘Haute Luxe’. Performance is good-to-moderate. Highly versatile and unisex. I’m annoyed that they offer ‘new perfumes’ that are just blends of others. I wasn’t expecting much (like the mediocre ‘Oceania’ and ‘Elysium’ from the same house), but I had to smell it due to positive comments. I was wrong; it’s simply delicious. I didn’t expect it, and it has climbed my top 5 of Roja; several who know the brand were surprised when I shared it in groups. Price? $680 for 100 ml (€580/£495). Considering the Pour Homme line is around $500 for 50 ml, this one offers better value as an exclusive in 100 ml. If you want to try this gem, test it a couple of times with the 7.5 ml travel spray and then say goodbye to continue your journey. I did that and couldn’t say goodbye; I want more. 10/10 ✨

  This scent is stunning. It opens with fresh, soapy aldehydes but quickly moves into a floral sweetness dominated by heliotrope and violet; that powdery, dry sweetness resembles iris. This sweetness lasts practically the entire life of the fragrance, which is the star here. It’s not too sweet or floral; the powder is tempered by pepper and woods, plus an earthy touch of patchouli and vetiver. In the far dry-down, when smelled close to the skin, you catch some galbanum and musk that give it air; at this stage, the sweetness comes from vanilla and benzoin, but the evolution is very soft, almost imperceptible. RDHP15 is beautiful and comforting, perfect for cold climates, lasts over 10 hours with good projection. If you’re a fan of Dior Homme, Dior Homme Intense, or Rochas Man, this will be your holy grail!
