Elegant, romantic, and with a nostalgic touch—that’s exactly how this rose + orchid + musk blend feels to me. It could easily pass for a Narciso Rodriguez if it weren’t for the fact that the musk doesn’t overpower the fragrance so much. Just beautiful.
Starts with that classic Chanel musk and a ‘sparkling’ rose (weird but good); the musk dominates for about 15 minutes on my skin before giving way to the florals—a not-quite-real but very pleasant orchid (maybe I’m just picky because of my home fragrances, but I do appreciate the variety). It’s light, super feminine, and modern, projecting freshness and cleanliness without any soapy scent for hours. You can smell it from less than a meter away; it’s soft and not overpowering, perfect for daily wear. If you like soft florals, this is one to enjoy. I’d definitely add it to my collection. As Shiseido says, it shares similarities with NR at the start due to the musk (as I’ve noted in other CN reviews), but once the musk fades, this one is softer and brighter, whereas NR is all about contrasts. Also, NR usually features rose and JASMINE (in caps), while this one pairs rose with orchid.
