It has a green note that doesn’t sit well with the sandalwood, which should be the star but isn’t. I was looking for something sweeter with a more prominent amber, but that’s not the case. It’s a curious contrast between the warmth I expected and that fig leaf freshness. Too bad it doesn’t last as well as this brand usually does.
Tested it today, hard to rate. Santalamore’s quality is top-tier, but the scent just isn’t for me. It starts delicious: green fig and natural notes with creamy, powdery linden. As it dries down, the sandalwood and ambergris make it feel animalic and acidic on my skin, which doesn’t convince me. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s subjective; it reminds me of some moisturizer. It’s great for fig and ambergris lovers, but it’s not mine. Rating: 8/10 overall.
Tested it today and it’s hard to pin down. Santalamore’s quality is top-notch, but the scent just isn’t for me. It starts lovely: fresh green fig with creamy, powdery linden. As it dries down, the sandalwood and ambergris turn animalic and acidic on my skin, which doesn’t sit well. It doesn’t smell bad—it’s just subjective; it reminds me of a moisturizer. Great for fig lovers and those who enjoy ambergris creams, but it’s not my thing. Rating: 8/10 overall.
