  1. R.de Lioncourt

Quirky fragrance: an African fruity floral with an acidic and creamy touch, nothing sweet or gourmand. I find it original for exploring an underused niche that the notes don’t reveal. I never would have imagined it from the description; I thought there would be more flowers, but that’s not the case. Easy to like without being cloying, though some might see it as more feminine. Typical performance for the house.

  2. I’m shocked it has 2.5 stars, it smells incredible! If you like red fruits, you’ll fall in love with this delight. It opens like a homemade jam of cherry, strawberry, and raspberry—meaty and juicy, with beastly projection at first. Then the sweetness drops and an acidic note rises, perhaps from the rhubarb, but it’s not unpleasant. After a couple of hours, it seems to fade, or maybe it’s just olfactory fatigue from the small sample, but right then the ambergris kicks in and it’s magic! The intensity returns and the scent shifts to something saltier and more animalic, with the fruits in the background. At 11 AM, it’s still perceptible on my skin, noticeable from my wrist. The best part is that it turns into a chameleon again: the red fruits reappear as the stars, now with that jammy vibe but with animalic nuances. It’s an Eau de Parfum but lasts longer than many extracts. Some won’t like it because it’s simple, but it’s dynamic and has amazing longevity. If you want to smell great for a long time, this is your pick, as long as you like red fruits. It’s 100% versatile, perfect for any season and situation, and doesn’t overwhelm thanks to its fruity and acidic profile. Scent: 10, Longevity: 10, Sillage: 8, Versatility: 10, Originality: 7, Overall: 19.

  3. I’m surprised it has 2.5 stars, how unfair! It smells incredible. If you like red fruits, you’ll be hooked. It opens like a cherry, strawberry, and raspberry jam, very meaty and juicy. The projection is beastly at first. Then the sweetness drops a bit and an acidic note rises, maybe from the rhubarb, but it’s not unpleasant. After a few hours, it seems to fade; I don’t know if it’s olfactory fatigue or because I only tested a small sample. Suddenly, the ambergris kicks in and the intensity returns like magic. The scent shifts to something more amber, salty, and animalic; the red fruits move to the background. It’s 11 AM and it’s still perceptible on my skin, noticeable from my wrist. The best part is that it turns into a chameleon again: the red fruits reappear as the stars, now with wilder animalic nuances, like that jam with a savage touch. It’s an Eau de Parfum but lasts longer than many extracts. Some won’t like it because it’s simple (though dynamic and with amazing longevity) and doesn’t bring anything new, but if you want to smell great for a long time, it’s yours. You just need to like red fruits; otherwise, it will be hard. It’s 100% versatile, perfect for any season and situation; even though it projects a lot, being fruity and acidic means it doesn’t overwhelm. Scent: 10, Longevity: 10, Sillage: 8, Versatility: 10, Originality: 7, Overall: 19
