Royal de Moresque was a pleasant surprise: the brand isn’t well-known, but the quality is top-notch. Royal is a great rhubarb and iris fragrance, sparkling and fresh. Sometimes it smells like fig, but then peach and fresh grapefruit notes emerge, creating a cheerful and revitalizing aroma alongside the two main notes. The heart has some florals, but nothing that dominates. In the dry down, it becomes cleaner, slightly creamy, with a beautiful evolution while retaining that initial zest. I see it as versatile, perfect for hot weather, slightly more feminine (I’d wear it myself), with great performance and a price-to-quality ratio that rivals other brands. It reminds me a bit of Hermes Eau de Rhubarbe and L’Imperatrice by D&G, but without copying them. I recommend giving it a try. Rating: 8/10
