Rose Nacarat: Dark Rose Over Berries and Oud
Rose Nacarat by Alchymia Studio is a Floral Oriental for women and men released in 2025. It was composed by perfumer Jean-Bernard Albani.
It pairs a lush, berry-stained rose with a smoked base of oud wood, leather and amber.
The opening blends rose oil and Taif rose with blackcurrant, blackberry and raspberry. Juicy and a little tart, the fruit gives the rose a glossy, lacquered brightness.
The heart centers on oud wood, resinous and smoky. Leather adds a dry, tailored edge, while cypriol — nagarmota — brings a woody, earthy rootiness.
The drydown rests on Indonesian patchouli leaves, green and earthy, wrapped in warm amber. Musk and ambroxan extend it with a clean, ambery veil.
Accords move from fruity and rosy to woody, musky, sweet and ambery, with an earthy thread from patchouli, oud and leather. The structure stays firmly Floral Oriental: rich, but lifted at the top.
Worn by any gender, it plays softness against roughness — petaled rose versus smoked wood and hide. It reads as an evening rose, darkened by black fruit and resins.
