Old-school barbershop style, a fougère that exudes class but with limited projection. Tremendously masculine and out of touch for young people. It nods to Azzaro Pour Homme and YSL Rive Gauche. It finishes with a potent animalic musk. Worth it for the price.

Short review: I liked it less than I thought. On my skin, an animalic musk dominates, smelling like dirty animal hide. You barely catch the lavender, and at the end, just a hint of cardamom and vanilla. It has nothing of Regio and I don’t feel like wearing it. Bye.

Caught me off guard: starts with a citrus explosion of grapefruit and bergamot with jasmine, like a classic cologne but with serious punch. After three minutes, it mellows out, introducing lavender, geranium, and a base of musk and vanilla that brings perfect balance. The heart blends clove and geranium with that vanilla base without losing the bitter citrus edge; it’s persistent and radiant. Top-tier quality that mixes old-school Italian perfumery with modern nuances. I see this for all seasons except winter, perfect for formal or semi-formal wear. It’s unisex but leans masculine, ideal for those who love citrus, spicy, and fougère scents. Scent 9/10, trail 8.5/10, projection 9/10, and longevity 8.5/10.

Regio is the dark side of the house: a rough marine fougere hiding behind its brother Fiero. It starts fresh, but the Indonesian patchouli dries everything out quickly, followed by a cold cardamom and citrus notes I can’t quite identify. The heart is serious: wilted geranium, metallic carnation, and that dominant patchouli giving it a retro, very masculine vibe. In the dry down, a shy powdery vanilla reminiscent of cheap movie pirates, smelling of abandoned docks and wet earth. If it says it smells like the Italian coast, it smells like a rotting old port. Great fougere, very intense.
