Descripción
Purple Flowers by Mancera is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2017, this composition features an olfactory pyramid that begins with top notes of fig tree, black pepper, ginger, nutmeg, and Sicilian mandarin. The heart unfolds a harmony of rose, patchouli, and cedar, while the base settles on white musk, Madagascar vanilla, and ambergris.

Super delicious! It’s floral and feminine but not your typical scent. Fig and rose with musk take the lead, and I’m completely hooked. I wasn’t expecting this at all; since it’s Mancera, I thought it would be more oud-style, but it’s not! It’s an absolute beauty. 10 out of 10.
Very rich and elegant; it reminded me of Amber Oud Gold by Al Haramain, though that one is fruitier and more aquatic. PF is more floral with an exquisite patchouli, not too intense, perfect for the day but in formal settings. It’s unisex with a slightly masculine touch, the trail is medium-low, and it lasts about 6 hours. I also found it similar to Velvet Fantasy by Montale, but in that one, you notice a soft tobacco-like vanilla note. They all have similarities, just with some nuances that might make you prefer one over the other; you have to try them. In my case, out of all of them, PF is the best because I love the rose-patchouli combo
Bought a decant because they claimed it smells like Lalique’s Perles, which is similar to YSL’s Elle. Totally wrong—there’s not a shred of resemblance. While the other two are sophisticated and wearable scents, PF smells like rotting flowers in a cemetery with old-fashioned talcum powder on top. Obviously, this is my take, but I recommend testing before spending.
I bought a decant because reviews here say it’s similar to Perles de Lalique, which in turn is similar to Elle by YSL. Nothing alike at all. While the other two are sophisticated and wearable scents, PF smells like rotting flowers in a cemetery with grandma’s powder thrown on top. Obviously, that’s my perception, but I recommend testing before buying
Exquisite. It’s like Lalique Perles but with steroids. Totally unisex.

The moment I smelled it, I immediately thought of a cemetery, and another reviewer had the same perception; I thought my nose was playing tricks on me. Anyway, whoever wears this needs personality. I don’t see it as versatile; it leans masculine and isn’t suitable for a very young crowd.
The moment I smelled it, a cemetery immediately came to mind, and seeing others review the same thing, I didn’t think my nose was failing. If you wear this, you need personality; I don’t see it as versatile for everything and it leans more masculine. I don’t think it’s for a very young crowd
Fragrantica lists it as feminine, but to me, it sounds super unisex. Smells like a bouquet of flowers, very natural and synthetic-free, but I’m not surprised some say it smells like a cemetery xD
Fragrantica says it’s for women, but honestly, I feel it’s more unisex. Smells like a bouquet of flowers, natural and not synthetic at all, just pure flower. I’m not surprised they say it smells like a cemetery xD.
