This fragrance pleasantly surprised me; it’s an unusual scent that’s hard to find since the brand is nearly unknown here and has low stock rotation. It seems they ignored it for a while before it turned into a high-end gem. Pureblack is a semi-dark oriental, nocturnal, and formal without being overly elegant. At first, it smells faintly of rubber, then settles into a cozy blend of leather and vanilla. Shortly after, tonka bean and sandalwood join under a woody, smoky veil. It reminds me a bit of Fahrenheit Absolute but sweeter, more wearable, and lighter—let’s say with a slightly synthetic touch (which isn’t a problem). Lasts about 5 hours with moderate projection for the first hour, then fades to skin-level with a pleasant dry-down. If you’re looking for something elegant with a soft sweetness and a toasted note, give it a try; it could be an interesting surprise. Not bad at all. Rating: 8.0
I tried it and it really hit the spot. It smells dark and deep, with a powerful opening that settles beautifully on the skin. At first, it reminds me of a fragrance I already know. Projection is medium, lasting about 3 to 4 hours, with good longevity between 7 and 8 hours. Perfect for nights or cold days, and best suited for people over 25.
