Formal, masculine, with massive sillage and real longevity. In my opinion, this fragrance is right on point—it’s the best Mauricio Carbajal has released so far.
Let me start with a personal fact: my dad was a huge Sean Connery fan, so his movies were always playing in our house. I inherited my love for the actor, but mostly his elegance. Whether he was Bond in a tuxedo, the monk in The Name of the Rose, or the cop in The Untouchables, he was always one of the most handsome men on screen. In Argentina, they say ‘it’s not the pilcha, it’s the percha,’ meaning style is forged by you, not just by your clothes. And that’s exactly what Pour Homme by Mauricio Carbajal conveys to me; the moment I smelled it, Connery came to mind. I think this fragrance would have given his look the perfect finishing touch. What else? It’s elegant, masculine, sophisticated, and balances classic with modern. To my nose, lavender and citrus stand out, while the woody base adds a distinguished touch. It works great all year round (except in extreme heat), ideal for fall, winter, and spring evenings. Finally, I confirm what PeruvianMonkey said: the performance is excellent, it has great sillage, and it lasts a long time. Congratulations to Mauricio Carbajal on this gem! Cheers to everyone.
