About Picasso
Picasso by mimicri: A Woody Aromatic Fragrance with Universal Appeal
Picasso is mimicri’s newest fragrance, a woody aromatic composition made for both women and men. It launched in 2025 and was created by perfumer Florian Gallo.
The name may evoke the artist, but the scent has its own kind of creativity: a bright citrus opening, a green, herbaceous heart, and a warm, resinous base.
The top notes feature petitgrain, bergamot, and neroli. Petitgrain brings a bitter orange-leaf edge, bergamot adds sparkling citrus, and neroli softens the blend with a delicate floral touch.
The heart pairs myrrh with yerba mate. Myrrh contributes a balsamic, slightly resinous warmth, while yerba mate adds an earthy, subtly bitter greenness that keeps things interesting.
At the base, cedar, vanilla, incense, and suede create a rich foundation. Cedar gives structure, vanilla adds smoothness, incense brings a smoky depth, and suede leaves a supple, skin-like trail.
The accords are mostly aromatic, amber, green, and spicy, with a sweet, balsamic undertone. It feels contemporary and grounded, with enough personality to stand out without being loud.
Because it’s a shared fragrance, Picasso moves easily from a daytime setting to an evening out. Its moderate projection makes it a safe choice for close encounters and daily wear.
Picasso will appeal to anyone who likes woody aromatic scents with a fresh citrus opening, a green heart, and a cozy smoky-sweet base.
Picasso is a strong addition to mimicri’s lineup. It’s well structured, engaging from start to finish, and it confirms Florian Gallo’s talent for crafting accessible yet nuanced perfumes.
