Florian Gallo
Florian Gallo, a well-known perfumer, has extraordinary energy and a love for discovering new aromas that reflect his passion for perfumery. Born with natural curiosity, Florian was fascinated by the world of perfumery at an early age. He would frequently visit Grasse during his family vacations and felt drawn to the magic of fragrances. It was this fascination that inspired him to pursue a career in perfumery.
Florian began his journey by enrolling in courses at the Versailles School of Perfumery and later at ISIPCA and Robertet in Grasse. During his studies, he traveled extensively to Argentina and England, where he gained invaluable experience and was exposed to new cultures.
Today, Florian is a perfumer at Firmenich in Shanghai, China, where he immerses himself in the local culture and society. He is the first perfumer to work from the workshop office, and he is passionate about the new technologies and ingredients that Firmenich provides to enhance his perfumery palette. Florian believes that Artificial Intelligence is a powerful tool for creating fragrances with greater precision and is excited to explore its potential.
Aside from perfumery, Florian has a passion for cooking and enjoys creating combinations of spicy flavors, a legacy of his Armenian mother. His love of cooking and experimenting with different flavors also serves as a source of inspiration in his perfumery creations.
